G-Tech, a company very active in bringing revolutionary Textile Electronic products like Backpacks and Messenger Bags to the consumer market, has introduced a new version in their already impressive line of Wearable Electronic Bags during the CES this week.
The new model is called Revolution and includes the ‘mobile electronic lifestyle’, incorporating ElekTex smart fabric technology so that users can store their cell phone or iPod in the bag and control it through a single touchpad on the strap of the bag and listen to the music with the external speaker or privately through the integrated headphone connector. The choice is yours.
The Revolution’s integrated Bluetooth features muting functions, making it easy to stop or resume music playback while responding to a call. The latest line of G-Tech Bags also includes an ultra-thin NXT external speaker, to share music with your friends or use the integrated headphone connector to listen privately to your songs.
Virtually any device, including a laptop, can be plugged into the bag’s built-in, universal 3.5mm extension jack to take advantage of the speakers’ good sound quality. The sound won’t be able to compete with high end speaker systems but for quick sharing, having sound for gaming action on the road (School yard) or for presentations if no other speaker system is on hand, the sound quality of the Revolution is just perfect.
The Revolution will be available for consumers around Q2 this year for US$199.- and will also be available in messenger bag form.
Stay tuned for an update here once the Revolution hits the shops.
