Lately, there has been something of a small backlash against VR glasses. Mostly this rancor is based toward Google and their marvelous Glass device, however it could potentially be levied at any similar products. What would anyone have against some bona fide awesome wearable tech? Well, mostly it boils down to privacy concerns and the notion that one can be filming out of it without letting anyone else know, thus filming things from the perspective of the wearer while gaining no consent. This is a prickly issue and one that isn’t going to go away anytime soon. On that note, here are some brand new VR glasses that you can secretly film people with! Yay.

Epson has long touted the second generation of their Moverio glasses as the second coming of Android-based VR glasses. However, time passed as it often does and there was no actual sign of these sweet specs. More time passed and still nothing. Well, the wait is over. The Moverio 2.0 is finally available, however only for customers who preordered the thing many moons ago. The BT-200, as they are called in their original Latin, brings the usual accoutrements to the table, such as being able to film video, take pictures, read text messages and participate in all manner of app.

The thing this device has over Glass? It all comes down to price. You can snag the Moverio VR glasses for a svelte $700. Now you are playing with power, privacy-invading power.
