Sure, EEG sensor-enabled headsets aren’t exactly uncommon these days. Still, this new unit by NeuroFocus may just take the functionality cake, in a purely Big Brother “uh oh” kind of way.

This headset, codenamed Mynd, is a full-brain EEG headset. What is it being used for? Why, telling advertisers exactly what is going on in that noggin of yours. Cool! Minority Report here we come.

Oh don’t worry. It could potentially also be used to help people with certain developmental disabilities. The Mynd is made of medical-grade EEG sensors to capture brain activity 2,000 times per second and a Bluetooth radio to shoot your thoughts to the smartphone, tablet, or PC of your choice.
