A couple days ago we brought you the news that Apple had filed for a trademark for “iWatch” in Japan, giving us more evidence towards the heavily rumored device. Well it’s happened again in three more countries, suggesting that Apple could be preparing to release the device rather soon!
The trademarks were made in both Mexico, Taiwan, and Russia and all three include information about a potential watch device. The trademark made in Mexico included product categories such as “computers” and “peripheral devices”. The trademarks in Taiwan and Russia included similar categories.
With such a number of wearable technology products making their way into the market, it is about time Apple entered the game. The iWatch is expected to be released as early as late this year, and with such a buzz on information about trademarks and leaks going around, we have no reason to suggest otherwise!
