Disney Castle

For those of you who don’t keep your fingers on the pulse of all things mouse, Disney introduced an interesting piece of wearable tech earlier this year. The tech, dubbed a Magic Band, is best known for allowing riders to stand on line digitally, without actually having to get on much of a line at all. In the sweltering heat of Florida (or California) summers that can be a lifesaver.

The pass also recently got an expansion, taking on function as a payment option and a room key that is literally strapped to your wrist. The straps recently got an upgrade with a mobile app, that will allow users to book fast passes and access other features of the band without having to stop at a kiosk, as well as allowing them to change reservations.
