Here at CrunchWear we’ve covered a number of devices for children, from tracking devices, to smartwatches, and so on. Well there is a new device that is looking to be added to the list of devices for children. It’s called the Guardian watch, by a Taiwanese company called Beluvv, and it claims to potentially save your child.
The Guardian is essentially a tracking device for your child, and is similar to a number of other children’s tracking devices. It can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 and is compatible with all iOS devices that have Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities.
The Guardian could surely help save a child’s life, but what makes it different than any other children’s tracking device. The answer is price. While a device called Revolutionary Tracker is priced at $199, and the Kid Alert was going to cost $49 before their crowd funding campaign shut down, the Guardian is priced at an extremely affordable $25. That’s not much more than most identification bracelets. Sometimes children simply get lost – in the mall, or wherever it may be. $25 is a small price to pay for being able to find your child quickly and efficiently, and would also prove to be extremely useful in case of something more serious happening.
The Beluvv Guardian is available for pre-order now and is expected to ship in November. It is able to attach to a number of things, such as clipping to your child’s backpack or strapping to their wrist. At $25, this could be the device for keeping your child safe and sound!
