Google is teaming up with the noted venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in order to work on a new app platform for Google Glass. The app platform, which has been dubbed the Glass Collective describes itself in the following terms, “The Glass Collective investment syndicate will provide financing and support to entrepreneurs shaping the future through Glass.” the company is providing developed with a first look at the as yet unfinished Google Mirror API, which will allow developers to build services for the Google Glass hardware For now the information on the API is confined to a video that you can see below:
Interested parties can sign up for updates via Google to be the first in the know when the API Is up and running.
