I bought this for my son and he loves it, says the product works as described however only fault is when sitting with jacket on since battery pack is in the back, its kinda annoying. Other than that which is minor. Would buy again. Hope this helps.

So this basically fails at what it’s trying to do. I kind of like it as a hoodie, even with the stiff heating elements. But it’s not good at what it’s advertised for.I wore this on several prewiring jobs where there’s no heat. I tried it in temps ranging 20-40 degrees. I wore this and one layer underneath. I tried it with a 2ah battery (whatever the starter kits come with – 1.3ah?) and a 5ah battery. I turned the heat to high and waited…and waited…and was disappointed. Yeah I guess it got a tiny bit warm, but it was hardly anything. I could see it making a difference if the weather were, say, 5 degrees cooler than I would normally enjoy, but that’s just not good enough.I was expecting it to act like an electric blanket. Every one of those I’ve tried has gotten way too hot for me even on the lowest setting. Granted, those don’t need to raise the heat as much as this does, but it doesn’t do much at all. This was a real let down. But like I said, I still like it as a hoodie…just not on job sites. The front pockets on this thing SHOULD be zippered, but they’re not. As a result, every time I do any work over my head that results in debris of any kind, they end up right in the pockets. And the interior of these pockets love to hold onto wood particles for dear life. This hoodie has been through the wash twice since my last job and I still found several bits of wood in the pockets. It’s really annoying.I wanted this to work but it doesn’t.

Works AMAZING! Fits perfect! Great for those long nights doing snow removal. It’s also a perfect alternative for those that ride motorcycles that don’t want to drop $500 on an “official” Harley heated vest or jacket.Makes a huge difference in taking that “edge” off.

Get right to it. The zipper is a weak piece of junk. I wasn’t even working in it and it started pulling apart from the jacket. The sewing is weak and zipper is just garbage. You can feel the cord going across your back. Very uncomfortable.I am a big dewalt user. This shouldn’t have their name on it. I hated doing it but I ended up getting the Milwaukee version and the quality is sooo much better. You can even get the dewalt battery adapter and use your dewalt batteries in it. Win win. Just search for Dcb092 and you’ll get a bunch of options. Just need the jack on the side. Same on both brand jackets.

This is an excellent choice for a heated jacket. It is light enough to enable the user to move freely and wearing another jacket on top is excellent to hold the heat to your body. I do wish that a battery was included

When you first turn it on the power button starts on high (red) for a few minutes then lowers automatically lowers to its lowest setting (white). Blue is medium. Heating was good, I wore it beneath my jacket. When the battery ran out and I replaced it with another, the power button immediately flashed blue without me touching it. The button at that point was totally unresponsive and wouldn’t turn off or on. It then gave minimal heat and stopped working altogether shortly thereafter. Same sequence of events the next time I wore it but with a shorter initial heat cycle. Big disappointment. Decent quality hoody, too bad it didn’t deliver. $130 buys a lot of body warmers!

Runs a little small but you want that to keep it close to your body. The hood on it is useless as it is way too small.Update.Stopped working already no contact from the DeWalt or the seller. Now I have a very expensive small sweatshirt.

First one I ordered lasted 2 weeks. Cable lost connection inside the jacket. Was easy return. Now few months later I have same issue with the replacement. This time there is no return as theres no link to click in the order menu. As per seller all returns must go through amazon. Cant say a bad word about CPO outlets for their response. But i would trash Dewalt for the product quality. I’m big dewalt fan so this was a natural choice for me. Unfortunately the cables lose connection inside the jacket and heating function fails. I’d expect to get at least a season out of one if not two.
