This is my fourth galaxy watch really like the watch. Unfortunate the galaxy five pro does not work with the iPhone at all. I’m tired that companies dictate what I can buy and can’t buy.

Easy setup for this 60year old Techy. Followed the watch instructions. The Wear Galaxy app worked fine to connect watch to phone for preferences and settings. Next, Seached Google Play Store for the Samsung Health app. The 1st listed Samsung Health app in Google Play Store said it was not compatible…looked a little further in the store and found a Samsung Health app that was compatible. 🙂 The only feature not working that I have found is of course the ECG. Wish I could find a Rolex Day-Date Oyster watch face. No Day options found yet. Gotta find one before I retire and start to forget what day it is, LOL.

Just wish battery would last longer.

First: If you buy the LTE version-your provider will charge an activation fee and a monthly fee. I bring this up as I was unaware and kind of shocked. Big rip off from the provider, should work with your current phone number and not be charged extra. Mine came with a grey colored band, rubber, that will probably not be good in the summer in the deep south. It is M/L-adjustable, guessing up to approx. 8-8.3 wrist. but not sure if ok for someone with a small wrist. I had the gear 3 classic previously, I’d still have it if my house was not robbed. This one was advertised as smaller in size. It is not. More of a bump on the back and still is very bulky and big. even at 45mm, it seems just like my old watch at 46mm. The front ring that moved on the top is now only available on the 4 model. Instead of the ring moving-you just slide your finger around the top and that does the same as the moveable ring. This does not have as many faces as my old watch and you cannot use most of the old ones on this new watch, which I am not really happy about. Seems they have eliminated the free ones to make you pay. I REALLY do like the function that you can change the orientation which was not available on the 3, but is now available on the 4 and 5. I don’t wear my watch like the traditional way, so this is great for me. Not sure about the battery life yet. Been playing with it for 2 days now getting everything set up. Seems like this is geared more to the excercise world than the just plain watch world that just wants cool functions. I picked this one as they show the battery life is better than the 4. LAST BUT NOT LEAST: It comes with a charger, but not complete. The round magnetic peice that sits on the back of your watch on one end of the cable and a USB C plug on the other. So unless you have a laptop that has a USB C plug on it, you have to buy an adapter that the USB C plugs into and then into a wall outlet or USB C F to USB A adapter converter. Which should come with it, but does not. I had to buy one as my laptop does not have usb c. Hope some of this helps someone.

I really like this watch. The battery life is excellent, I get about 3 days and 20 hours on a single charge. My old Galaxy S3 watch would barely last a single day on a charge. It’s not cheap, but well worth it in my opinion.

I am reviewing a SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm LTE Smartwatch. The watch is mechanically a great design. I was looking for a watch with a real sapphire crystal face, reasonable size, and good looks. I chose the Gray color and am very happy with the choice. It looks great. I was not expecting the magnetic latching band, but it is the best watch band latching mechanism I have used. Battery life is great — much better than my old Fossil Carlyle Gen 5.What’s not so great is the super-intrusive Samsung apps, their inability to take “NO” for an answer, and the inability to uninstall them to get them out of the way. Every day I walk to work, it wants to record my route. No amount of “NO” prevents that popup from showing up. Pure WearOS apps are non-intrusive and do not nag. The Samsung nagware actually makes wearing this watch a hassle sometimes.Hardware: 5Stars, WearOS Software: 4 Stars. Samsung Software: 1 Star.Ever find that “almost perfect” product that just has one glaring, fatal flaw: That’s this watch. And the Samsung software is that flaw. If this were a Pixel watch, it would be perfection.

I had an experience and almost had a Bf. It took me awhile to setup the watch because I couldn’t find a tutorial on how to install the 5 pro LTE. I had to call my carrier that took time! But got it finally. Now I had to fight with the band that I couldn’t figure out lol finally got it. I love for what the watch does I love it! Oh the battery is long lasting I love it❤️. UPDATE! It wasnt connected, the carrier are airheads! It seems the device had issues were the IMEI number wasn’t valid so I had to return the watch.

Hate the d buckle and doesn’t come with a charging cube. That would be fine if it was just a USB cable to plug into my other cubes but it’s not so now have to order ANOTHER cube. For $500 it should have everything to get it up and running.
