Atomic Watch
There is something sinister we usually don’t talk about in regard to timepieces. They are, gasp, occasionally wrong. The time told on your favorite watch can often be incorrect based on a number of ever-changing variables. As we float through this cesspool we call the universe, the very act of said floating makes time actually shorter. Sure, this amount is pretty negligible in the grand scheme of things, but it sure would be nice to have a wristwatch that didn’t fall prey even to the natural ebb and flow of our trips around the sun. Guess what? There is!

Introducing the Cesium 133, the world’s very first atomic wristwatch. Inside of this astounding gadget lurks an actual atomic clock, guaranteed to tell the correct time to the second for the next 1,000 years. That’s a long time, almost as long as your Uncle Hal has been alive(da dum dum.) In any event, the watch  works using cesium-based oscillator, which is fancy speak for “a really, really awesome thing that tells time.” You may notice that it looks pretty snazzy, in addition to being pretty darned good at telling time.

Of course, something this, well, atomic is sure to cost a whole lot of bucks. On that count, it does not disappoint. If you want one of your very own, you will have to visit the watch’s Kickstarter page and explode down $6,000. That’s just for early birds. When these hit mass production they will cost twice that much, a full $12,000.
