While this was a good heated jacket last winter, there is one point i would like to bring up. I work construction, and sometimes, i need to wear a Safety Harness.the placement of the battery pack is such that it jams into my hip when wearing both the jacket and the safety harness. This is not something the Casual user will run into, however it is something that milwaukee should keep in mind for improvements to the design. Apparently Dewalt also makes one of these, using Dewalt power drill batteries to run it, and it has 2 power ports going to 2 pockets.. Just a thought

I ordered this jacked for my husband as a birthday present. He had his eye on it for some time and was so excited to get it. He has worn the jacked everyday! People stop him at everywhere he goes asking how he likes it and if its worth the money. He has nothing but great things to say. He has Milwaukee tool everything and was able to use the batteries from his tools in the jacket. However they were older batteries he as able to get only an hour of “heat”. He purchased new ones and can wear the jacket all day on high without a problem. If you thinking about ordering it – go for it! I don’t think you will be disappointed!

My husband dropped several hints prior to Christmas about how nice a jacket like this would be for him. We live in a very cold winter climate, brutal at times! Our son has a couple of them, his children borrow them! So, I ordered it and my husband loves it. His words “It keeps me toasty warm while ice fishing; nice sturdy coat, not cumbersome; battery lasts about 5 hours”. Recharger included, recharges in a few hours. He is thinking about getting a 2nd battery for longer periods of time. He loves ice fishing, has a fishing shanty, but prefers to be outside.He loves it.
