Was using the Jawbone UP 4 (which was horrible, see my review on that one) and when the 2nd one broke (in the same exact spot) i decided to upgrade to the Blaze. I wanted a fitness tracker that was also a watch AND received texts and emails while I am working out or in long meetings. The Blaze has been great in all areas so far. The only reason I docked it a couple stars is the text size for emails, notifications and txt’s is so TINY and there is no way to increase the font size. In order to read it, I have to put on a pair of 1.5x readers – which is not optimal for working out. I usually don’t carry reading glasses everywhere I go. If fitbit pushes a firmware update that allows me to increase the font size, then it’s perfect for me.[UPDATE] – 5/31/18 after a year and 5 mos of owning this tracker, it lost the ability to hold a charge more than a few hours. i searched the forums and it seems many people had the same issue. i tried all the suggestions offered online & then contacted customer support. they had me do some tests to confirm the watch was faulty. their solution – a 25% off coupon to buy another tracker on their site. their prices are msrp, so 25% off is pretty much what you’d buy it for on amazon or elsewhere. it’s 5 months out of warranty, so now the tracker is trash.their ultimate response? – “Fitbit trackers are made to last. However, due to some factors that are beyond human control, materials that these trackers are made of also reaches its limitation.” – well, i’ve reached my limit with fitbit.PS: the forum post about font size was huge before they closed it with “we won’t be addressing this issue”DO NOT BUY!

I’ve been using my Fitbit Blaze for over a month now. I’m currently on my second one. I’ve had a variety issues with the blaze. So far I’m incredibly disappointed. I received my replacement Pebble on Friday. My Blaze was inaccurate in counting steps. It was counting only about 60% out of every 100 steps on average. (I did dozens of 100 step tests) That adds up to a lot of missing steps at the end of a very busy day. I also have found that when I am doing simple tasks such as walking around our kitchen or going from one room to the next, it will not count a single step. I have to have my arm swinging like I’m in full exercise mode in order for any steps to count. Even then I’m still missing steps. Last night we went for our five mile walk. The GPS map only showed a straight line; it did not follow all the way through the route and it only counted 3.48 miles! (Yes, I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting techniques recommended by Fitbit) I’ll give this route another try today. I have been a Fitbit customer for a couple years now. I had the charge previous to this and upgraded to The Blaze. I found the charge never had any trouble with accuracy. Unfortunately for me, when I bought the Blaze, I made the mistake of buying alternate bands, several of them, so I could wear this tracker all the time. After reading so many positive reviews on it’s accuracy I felt comfortable and confidence with my purchase. I assumed this product would be better than my charge. I was wrong. I really want this to work, I like the look of my Blaze and I enjoy all the extras. I really like the convenience of getting texts and notifications on my watch. I like the music control and the other added benefits. However, if the steps and the GPS tracking are not accurate this was a waste of $200. I really hope that I ended up with just a couple of lemons and third time will accomplish all of the things it’s advertised to do. I’ll give this one another day and then I’m planning on calling Fitbit customer service once again and let them know the second pebble is doing just as poorly as the first pebble. Maybe a third time will be a charm, maybe not. This has been a frustrating situation that’s led me to researching other products, by other brands, hoping to find something to meet my needs with my busy lifestyle.

I love my new-to-me fitbit blaze. It’s in great condition and works like it’s brand new. Very happy with the purchase and quick time from purchase to ship time and ship to delivery.

This rating was 4 stars until about a month ago. Until then I really liked my Blaze. I wiper it everyday at work and home. I had bought the different bands for different occasions. My only complaints were a lack of more choices on screen display options or configurations and colors. Also, it gets annoying doing the wrist flip repeatedly to get the thing to show you the time. My Timex had never failed me there, even after 5 years.Anyways, I was still a loyal Fitbit Blazer and bragged it up at work and smack talked all the Apple watch people about how great the Blaze was over the Apple. I sold more than a couple of new co-workers in the Fitbit that way. But, now my Blaze just twitches all day and night. It turns on for moments then reboots and vibrates as if stuck in some Russian hack induced paralysis. Customer Service said too bad, so sad. Since I bought it in Feb 2016 they will give me a discount coupon to buy a new one but the warrant only covers a year. Are you kidding me??? But another one??? That’s like lighting $200 on fire but getting to watching it burn for 14 months! No way! Maybe Timex will make a new watch I’ll enjoy for $40 and at least 5 years…

Not only did this great Fitbit arrive fast, it was in better than advertised condition. It works flawlessly and, with a little help from the free online manual, was really a great buy. I get 6 days out of a single battery charge just like a NIB model.
