SIZE: I am a 5’6″ 200 pound woman. I am not petite. But the mini size fits perfectly! Using the paper guide found on the Aftershokz website, I was riiiiiiight on the border of needing the full size pair. But I’m SO GLAD I ordered the mini! Absolutely a perfect fit.SOUND: Whaaaaaaat?! Soooo cool! I am a little bit hard of hearing due to tinnitus, but these are incredible! I can actually listen to them at a lower volume than I can my LG Tone + headphones (which are also great, just different in-the-ear kind). They are very hearable (not a word, LOL) at slightly less than half volume. Yes!OVERALL: I’m TOTALLY impressed. I thought they were going to squeeze my head weird or tickle (which they do a tiiiiiiny bit at full volume). Or that they would just sound strange, like muffled or garbled. They sound clear as a bell. With music or podcasts, for someone who doesn’t TOTALLY JAM… Like for a normal human person, these are SPECTACULAR.

My right ear drum was damaged years ago.. not badly, but enough to have “What?” be a common phrase that comes out of my mouth if I am facing away from the speaker. When I first played music on these headphones I heard harmonies that I had not heard in years. What a delight.. Also, the sound you get when you plug your ears off from other sounds is incredible.

Bought this last year and absolutely loved it, the quality is great, the sound brilliant yet I can still hear road movement when cycling, the reason for reviewing now is because a fault developed, I contacted the company, their customer service was amazing, on describing the fault to them they immediately responded with an ‘oh dear this could be a difficult one’, so they replaced it straight away, no hesitation, they even sent a very chic water bottle as compensation for the hassle (there was none!). I am so impressed with the service and the quality of the headphones, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again and will definitely recommend to all my friends

Love the mini version, they fit my small head much better. (Previously purchased the standard and they were a bit big. (Other half benefited and is very pleased too) Sound is amazing and you can still hear what’s going on around you! Battery lasts for hours. Really easy to connect to phone. Up and running in a few seconds.

Bought these for my wife, as she doesn’t like the large over ear headphones which are fashionable and positive hates the in ear plug type had phones.This is her second pair of the Aftershokz and she loves them. The fact that they work by bone conduction, means that they are not in or over the ears. The snug fit means that these are perfect for sports/jogging, etc.

My husband bought these for me because I am a runner and I hate the ear buds. These fit perfect, I can hear everything that’s going on around me and I feel safer because of it. They are light weight so I forget that I am wearing them. They charge pretty fast and hold battery life for hours. Definitely one of the best gifts I have received.

I use these for walking on some bike trails. It’s important that I can hear bikers coming up behind me and move out of the way…these are great. I had tried several different pairs of higher end ear buds and wasn’t happy, but these are perfect. My music (and phone calls) come through clearly. They are comfortable. I’m glad I bought the smaller size. I am not an audiophile so can’t speak to all the nuances, but for my needs they have been awesome. Really appreciate not having the buds in my ears. People on the other side of phone conversations tell me that they hear me more clearly than on my bluetooth in my car, so that says something. Also, using them in the house it’s nice to still be able to hear what the kids need….if you are looking to close out the world, this isn’t the set, but if you want to hear your music and be aware of your surroundings, look no further!

I’m writing this review on the second full day of use so it is subject to change.EYEGLASSES: I began to panic a little bit after I hit the “order now” button because I hadn’t considered the fact that I wear eyeglasses and wasn’t sure if they would fit right or squeeze my glasses frames or stretch my glasses frames. They fit perfect, they actually help keep my glasses from sliding down my nose.FIT: I chose the minis, I am considered petite, 5’3″, 115lbs. Even with the glasses, they fit fine but they do move some if I tilt my head back – not a complaint, just simply stating, it doesn’t affect the functionality. The area where they sit in front of my ears is just a bit sore today, but I always have that same kind of soreness when I get new eyeglasses, I am sure it’ll pass.SOUND QUALITY: I have slight hearing loss due to a stereo system in my car when I was young and dumb, so I have a hard time with cell phones, I have to remove ear buds if someone is talking to me, and ear buds/headphones make me feel like I’m in a tunnel or something when I hear my voice. I HATE them. I don’t have to remove these to have a conversation, and when I am using them for a phone call, I don’t get that feeling of being in a tunnel. I used them for music yesterday, while at work, outside, I was able to hear great quality music without losing the noises around me such as the forklift and other equipment moving around. That being said, I think the quality on my end is great, but my son commented when I asked him how well he can hear me that “he can hear me fine, but the quality isn’t that great” for the microphone on my end.OVERALL: 5 stars and would highly recommend. I haven’t had anyone comment that they can’t hear me or can I speak up or anything like that. I can do things like continue to cook dinner while I’m on the phone without worrying about dropping my phone in a pot of boiling water or hot grease. I wish the range was just a little longer, but I can just clip my phone to my belt if I am roaming a large area, or put it in my purse when I’m in a store or something.

Best headphones I’ve ever purchased and I’ve bought at least 15 different kinds. I have some inner ear issues, so wearing traditional headphones has always been a bit uncomfortable for me. I have a small opening, so they tend to not fit right, fall out, or create a suction inside my ear. These headphones are absolutely perfect. They were a bit odd to get used to at first, but I found a position that works for my head and I haven’t had a single problem with them falling off. They do touch the back of my neck and get pushed up a little when that happens, but I just make sure to position them better to avoid this. I have worn them on the treadmill and the elliptical machines at the gym and they stay on and are so comfortable, I can barely tell that I’m wearing them. I love the open ear aspect too because I can hear my kids or other surroundings if I need to. They also come with ear plugs and the sound is so crystal clear when you wear them, but I choose not to. The battery life is also amazing. Ive only had to charge them twice and I’ve had them for 2 weeks now. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

How did I not know about these before! My colleague had a pair arrive at the office and showed me how they work. I have tried so many types of headphones but they all fall out my ears so I am constantly distracted trying to put them back in, these are amazing! I can hear my music while running and be aware of my surroundings at the same time; I never have to worry about not hearing traffic or my ear buds falling out. I have a pin head, the mini fit me perfectly! Recommend to anyone that wants to listen to music and stay safe. Can’t rate highly enough, love love love!

Have been on 2 long runs with these now (over 2 hours each run). They were perfectly comfortable and I had no problems with the Bluetooth connection. I was worried that they might wiggle up and down at the back when I ran but they don’t move. I was also concerned that they might be uncomfortable above my ears as I wear glasses but they were fine. I listened to music on one run and a drama podcast on the other and the sound was fine on both. The only time I found it a bit difficult to hear dialogue was when I was running up a road where there was a lot of traffic noise but I would expect that really. Very pleased with them – much more comfortable than my old in-ear earphones.

I originally bought the regular size Trekz from Costco and ended up returning them because they were to big for my head. Then I bought the Trekz air which were amazing, but broke after 12 months, however the replacements battery life was very poor, so they were returned. I saw the Mini Trekz and decided to give them a go. They are fantastic, great battery life, fit perfectly and only paid £55 bargain. 😃

I bought these on the recommendation of my daughter-in-law who is a runner. I am a passionate gardener who enjoys listening to podcasts whilst working outside. I had become fed up with using earphones attached to my phone as they kept becoming caught as I gardened. These have totally solved my problems!! They are lightweight, are comfortable (I do wear glasses and they sit securely and comfortably), the sound quality is great and battery life ideal for hours in the garden. I would totally recommend these headphones.
