Bought these in a 5 pack for my in-laws, Mother in-law has gotten sick and gave these to them to put around the house in key areas, they use them all the time if she needs help. we have only used them in the house but they are clear and simple to use, highly recommend these.

They’re easy to use but service is spotty at best.I just got a chance to use them and they didn’t work very well.They don’t come near a half mile to mile range.Even working in next yard or end of driveway they were spotty.I would return but my window for returning closed 9 days ago.Edited after cruise!RT22 is a much better product!We bought the walkies on a cruise but Carnival has an app to use onboard, so you can use your phone and text.We used in our ports and they were wonderful!I would highly recommend!5 STARS RT22

I use these walkie talkies with my 5 year old grandson almost every day. The lanyards had to be replaced immediately, but the devices work very well. There are a lot of trees and houses in the area, but we can clearly talk a couple of blocks away. Other brands with larger external antennas rated at 22 miles don’t double that distance in this area. They are perfect for my needs. Small, lightweight, decent battery life and work well.

We purchased these to wear while at a large rural property. The house is 3 levels and the property is almost 2 acres. It’s hard to keep track of everyone and these walkie talkies make communicating so much easier. “Hey do you have the toddler with you?” “Yes, we’re back by the fire pit picking up sticks” etc etc. Range has worked great for us. Our 5 year old can easily turn it on/off and communicate with us.

1/3 of the units had a problem: Stuck on one frequency, would not hold charge, otherwise need to make sure everyone on same frequency and no noise interference..Only two channels are clear for us.

I ordered two sets of 5 walkies to use for our teachers. Three of them did not even make it past the first week. They either got stuck on one channel or started making random sounds. The bad thing was we ordered over the summer so when it was finally time to use them and we realized they weren’t working, the return deadline had passed. There isn’t even a way to contact the seller. Super disappointed that we are out $170.00.

They are VERY loud and confusing to explain how to use to housekeepers. The lanyards are great, but wish it were easier to use , especially since it is disruptive noise when one does not know how to properly use it.
