The humble purse. They are good for holding on to your odds and ends, loose change and all manner of embarrassing sundry. They are, however, not good for much else. Sure, the world of bags have advanced in technological leaps and bounds in the past few years but this has not transcended to purses. That is, until now.
Introducing the Everpurse, designed by Elizabeth Ormesher Salcedo and her husband Dan. Mrs. Salcedo was inspired to design the purse after one too many days of her smartphone losing juice on her. The solution to this age-old(well, early 200os) problem? A purse that charges your phone on the go! Too good to be true? Read on.
The Everpurse features a a 2500-milliampere-hour battery that is sewn into the lining and invisible to the casual observer. This battery takes your cellphone from 10 to 100 percent in 100 minutes, all as it sits snugly in your purse as you go on with your beautiful day. Charging the purse itself takes several hours, but it comes packed in with a charging mat. Just drop it on the mat when you get home and you’ll be set. The purse is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones.
The bags are set to enter into production. How can you get your greedy hands on one? Check out the duo’s Kickstarter site and plop down $99. Now if only dudes could carry purses. Sigh.
