This is my second Vivoactive watch from Garmin. I had the Vivoactive 1 which was an excellent watch, you can literally go to war with that one, my screen got broken and still working. This one seems to go in the same path. I swim with it, no issues at all with the water. I used it for running and so far it’s pretty accurate marking the distances, Garmin provides an app where you can see all your workouts and the route you did and where and when you hit milestones for miles. It has cool Star Wars animations that shows up when you achieve a goal. The screen brightness for my preference is good, you can adjust it and to me the highest brightness is too much usually have mine set below middle and battery last without charging and using GPS three days which is less than my Vivoactive 1 but still a lot. It charges to full in about 2 hours so excellent. It has many apps like Vivoactive 1 for running, walking, swimming, golf, bike among many others. You can set shortcuts, add your music directly to the watch so if you go out for running no need to bring your phone, I loved that feature. You can change the watch face, already includes some Star Wars unique backgrounds and you can download more from Garmin app. My only issue with it is that every now and then you need to make sure that still connected to your phone it disconnects sporadically but seems that is a common flaw on Garmin as my Vivoactive 1 does the same. If you like StarWars, workouts and a smart device that even measures your heart rate go ahead.

I have overwhelming praises for the watch. I have a hard time finding watches that fit my wrist right out of the box. This one fits no problem. It comes with a black leather band (preinstalled) and a black silicon/rubber band. The bands are super easy to swap with the quick release mechanism. No need to fiddle with a tool like most other watches. It is light weight. Especially compared to my analog Timex Chronograph. The ad boasts an average 8 days before charge. I believe this to be true as I only go through about 10% of the battery in a day, this varies depending on the amount of notifications I am receiving. The setup was super easy. If you have a Garmin account it is a simple as signing in and pairing the watch to your phone. Or be me and not have a Garmin account and set one up as you download the application to your phone. Either way it was a breeze. I do not utilize all of the functions on the watch so I can not speak to all of them.My only complaints are that I had some shipping issues at first but I was able to resolve those on my end before having to contact the seller and that the touch screen does have some recognition issues when your finger may be a bit sweaty, at least when trying to change the watch face. But these issues were miniscule. I would recommend this product. One of my friends is actually jealous about it.

It’s pretty freaking cool! I had a simple Fitbit before so this has a lot more features. I still use the Fitbit app to track my menstrual cycle since it’s simpler to look at than the garmin menstrual tracking feature. Other than that it’s awesome!

I like all the information it keeps, battery life is great as long as your not using faces that use a lot of energy

This one lags, brightness isn’t the best, just not as good as I was expecting. Can’t respond to messages with it just receives notification. It’s meh. Not worth the price. It’s a $50 dollar watch in my opinion.
