I like the watch and not have to worry about the battery which is greatly improved. I am no marathon runner or walker but I like to add widgets, detailed watch faces and a bright screen and all of that can drain the battery. I was worried about the band but no issues there. Its a premium watch with a premium price but Garmin customer service can back it up. For me the lack of the following did not matter.– No Maps (nor Trendline/heatmap routing)– No Music– No WiFi sync– No ClimbPro on the fly (since that requires maps), but you can do ClimbPro based on a course– PacePro based on a round-trip course created on the watch itself (but otherwise PacePro works fine with downloaded courses, or ahead of time via the app)
