These headlamps are absolutely wonderful for the price, but they’re not perfect.Pros:Strong lighting. I don’t have any instruments to measure this, but I can tell you what it does. It will shine well across a small pond we have our here in the country and dimly light the trees on the other side. It won’t blind you if you’re working up close, either. It’s not SO bright that you couldn’t use it on an up-close electrical project in the dark, for instance.I saw people complain about it being a two pack, but for us that’s a good thing. We have more than one person who needs one and a spread-out property. If we want to, we could order a few and put them in several places throughout the property. The battery life is also good, at least on the one I’ve used. Another person in the family who uses his more frequently and for longer didn’t get as good performance on his, however. I don’t think it lasted as long as it was supposed to, but to be fair, we didn’t time it and our sense of time is subjective.The band is comfortable and adjustable and seems fairly high quality. The positionability of the light angle is good and holds solidly without flopping out of place or being too difficult to change.Cons:Six different kinds of lights are excessive and obnoxious to me. It’s not fun to have to click the button six times to turn it off. Maybe other people use those functions, but no one I’ve ever known does. I could see the use of the dim, spread-out light and an SOS light, but again, why six? I wish they had an option to buy a headlamp with only two or three functions, or else a button that turns it on and off without having to cycle through the buttons all the time.The motion sensor feature can be pretty cool, but there are some annoying aspects to it. For instance, it feels the same as the normal on/off button so I often press it accidentally. I think it would be better to place the motion sensor button far off to one side so you have to intentionally look for it to use it. Once I didn’t realize the motion sensor was on and put it in my pocket. I was wondering why it was so warm in my pocket and realized the lights had been on. No harm done, but I could have run the batter down or damaged the coat material or headlamp if I’d left it on a long time.Secondly, it would be nice if you could transition straight over from the sensor mode to the regular on/off mode without having to cycle through all the functions to turn it off. For instance, if you turn it on sensor mode and then want to change it to regular mode, you could press the regular mode button and automatically change it over, a successful change-over being indicated by a single blink or something.So, overall I’m quite happy with this headlamp, but could be even happier with some improvements!

This headlamp is a good overall combination of size, several light options, and easy to use/operate controls.The headlamp has an very bright central LED light in addition to a diffused LED lights option. These two light options have a high and medium intensities to choose from. The central LED light on the highest intensity is blindingly bright if you look at the LED directly. Also there is a red LED option for subdued light.The photos shown were taken at night with the central LED light on the highest intensity. The light has a very bright central beam for distance while also plenty of flood to light up the periphery. The trees in both photos were about 25 yds away and the light was bright enough to see the detail of the trees clearly while still lighting up the area around it.A headlamp is useful for keeping in a car. It allows changing a tire at night without needing someone else hold a flashlight, or having to hold a flashlight in your mouth.

I purchased these headlamps for a couple reasons. I walk my dogs at night in a nearby cemetery because they’re trained to walk “off lead”. They wear lighted harnesses but I need to be able to see them at all times & I’m telling you, these headlamps are really, really bright! Being a responsible dog owner also includes picking up your dogs’ poops, even in the dark & I’m able to do this with this headlamp! The other reason is because my dogs have floppy ears, I have so much trouble properly cleaning their ears between groomings. It makes no difference how many lamps I turn on in my house, I always block direct light from their ears & I can’t do a good job but once again, problem solved with these headlamps! Great product!

It is not practical for me to evaluate these against many other of the newer LED lights there are now so many. This will be my second set of these. The first were a gift and I was so impressed I ordered this set. Super bright much better than one old regular battery operated ones I have used. The red light is great for going to and from the deer stand in the dark. I like the brightness controls and the switches are easier to use than my old lights. I was skeptical about recharging vs batteries but, I have not yet run one dead so they last quiet well. My wife uses hers for sewing where she needs concentrated light. I have not found a use for the motion detection yet.

I bought this light because it’s rechargeable that makes it convenient and saves me money. I looked at the home improvement stores and all they sell is non rechargable ones at the same price and you still have to buy batteries for the life of the light and the only rechargeable one was over 70.00$ so I decided to try this and it’s been great! Very bright and multiple settings for different lighting needs.The price was my first deciding factor then convenience. I received 2 for the price what 1 non rechargable would cost. Overall I recommend this.

I love these headlamps! They’re very lightweight and last for a couple of hours with each charge. I love the fact that the headlamp is adjustable to your line of sight and is very handy when working alone. I keep both charged and swap them out if I’m working over 4 hours. You won’t be disappointed by these lamps and the fact that you get two headlamps makes it an even better deal.

I love these headlights.. I bought them because my husband and I do alot of DIY projects as well as lots of other hobbies and crafts. We have used these things for so many different things from repairs to the house ( in the attic and the crawl space). He uses it to work on his car, when he’s in the paint booth and beyond… I love that they have the different Intensities are perfect for when you just alittle light or your are total darkness. I am even going to get another set as he like to use them attached to his paint gun as well. Totally Awesome product.
