I have had a chipolo card for about 8 months. I like that the card fits in my wallet; it is about as thick as two credit cards. I will be nice when it gets thinner. It has gone in the water a couple of times and still seems to work. When trying to locate it, it does not give you a precise location, but it is reassuring to know if you lost in the house or if it is elsewhere. The ringer could be be louder. It is not loud enough to lead you to it, but if you get fairly close it will help. There are two big drawbacks. One is the cost considering you have to replace it every year, especially if you might want to use more than one. It seems like it needs to be in the $5-$15 range if it is basically disposable. Also I have a couple chipolo classics, they run out of batteries surprising quickly. I have gone through several over past 8 months. Despite the claim to let you know in the app that the battery is running low, it never does. I find out when I cannot find me keys and open the app to find the last time it connected was three weeks ago in some other state. When the card runs down, I hope the notice feature will work. Despite this problems, both the card and the classice have helped me find keys and wallets several motnings when otherwise I would have to leave the house without them.

Despite the fact that the Chipolo key chain seems to be designed properly, this device does not have a replaceable battery. And this fact is NOWHERE mentioned on the product description page. If a device is crippled by design, you really need to tell people you’re selling a crippled, shoddy product.Without a replaceable battery, this card won’t really useful to anyone. They actually want you to buy a new card every year. Seriously. How about designing a product that is actually useful? As it stands, this is garbage. I would not even accept this as a free gift.EDIT: The manufacturer has responded to my criticism by correctly noting a 1-year battery life right on the product description, which is perfect, and will certainly reduce confusion. I appreciate this effort, and thus, I am revising my 1-star review to be 3-stars. The product was not right for me, but perhaps will be fine for others with different needs.

Paired easily. The chirp is way, way too quiet and the mapping location only tells you that it’s “near your area”—useless.

I’ve only had the Chipolo Card for a few days, but was sold on the concept. The ability to find either my wallet using my phone, or my phone using my wallet is fantastic. The Chipolo Card comes in a very attractive package and has 2-step instructions for where to download the Chipolo app. The thin design is great and fits into my wallet easily. The only for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the initial pairing failed. I had to initiate pairing a 2nd time, which was successful. I also had to check the instructions for how to ping the phone. This seems like something that should be printed on the Chipolo card itself. (Example: “Press and hold to pair. Tap twice to find phone.”) Hope I never need to use the Chipolo to track down a lost phone or wallet, but the peace of mind is reassuring, and the product design is great!

I got tired of looking for my wallet and my keys, and after looking at a few alternatives, decided to use chipolo. The main reason I decided to use chipolo over others was the ability to replace the battery without having to get new devices every year or so. I bought a few chipolo classics and then one of these chipolo cards for my wallet. The card format is better for a wallet than the classic format. Set up is easy. I also like the concept of “sharing” chipolos, I shared mine with my wife so the chipolo will connect with my wife’s phone when I’m not around. One thing that I would like to be able to do is “ring” the chipolos when they are connected to my wife’s phone instead of mine.Really pleased so far. Keep up the good work!

What can I say, the waller tracker is pretty awesome. It’s so thin that it can fit in your wallet and you would never even know it. I have played with this device and it does everything that you would want from a tracker. However, there are a few pros and cons. On besides being thin, it supports Siri short cuts and notifications when you loose bluetooth contact. This is a huge feature in my opinion that tile does not offer for free. However, there are a few shortcomings. There are louder trackers out there like the cube pro…but not as thin. The notifications are sent a few seconds slower than on the cube pro which means you have farther to back track to get your keys or wallet. The battery is not replaceable so after one year you need to get a new one. So really, if super thin is what you MUST have then this a a great choice. However, if you need louder notifications and want replaceable or rechargeable batteries you might consider other options. It all comes down to what is critical to you, but this is definitely a great tracker for what it claims to do.

Love it!!! My only wish is that the “in range / out of range” setting were easy to manage. Because when you’re in the house if you’re wallet is close to the threshold of range from your phone it keeps dinging “in range….out of range!” Lol

The items works fine and i was able to locate my wallet several times. I bought it for that one purpose and it seems to do its job very well. The other thing i like it most is not only being able to locate your wallet, the app will display a notification if you left your wallet. That to me is the very important feature since if i forget my wallet there’s no way I could find it.

Took a few attempts to connect to my honor Phone but after changing a few settings in Bluetooth and battery managed to get it to work, love that price includes reminder if you leave keys behind unlike tile which charges etc. Really pleased with the security it gives me.Yes it’s not very loud but definitely serves its purpose.Wish I had it a few months ago when I actually did lose my keys!!

Have one placed in my wallet and whilst it does not protect me against theft it is a useful gadget for when I cannot remember where I left my wallet around house or in the office etc. It is also quite thin so easy to carry around. For somebody who travels and uses passport a lot it is also convenient to know where your passport might be.
