5 Reviews for AGPTEK Smart Watch for Women

  1. Forever Chaos

TLDR: I got much more than I expected for $43. The health monitoring alone is worth it, but the sports functions, the sleep data, and the ability to combine the data with google Fit, has been invaluable. I would consider this an excellent starter watch, except I have no plans to get a better one. It does everything I really need and didn’t cost a ton of money! I wrote this really long review to help people going through what I initially went through… I downloaded and installed and uninstalled so many apps, and purchased so many products that were unnecessary…. Summarily, give Fitcloud 24 hours to start delivering data to google Fit, don’t bother downloading any watchmaker apps (they wont work with this), and if you want a good screen protector, look for a picture that has the actual measurement on it. Don’t just order something that says it’s “for a 44MM watch”. It might be the wrong size, as actual touchable areas vary. I personally like the EZCO covers made for the Samsung Active 2 (although they don’t fit perfectly), that has a black border/bumper.—————-I bought 2 of these. One as a gift for my mom, and one for me so I would know how it works to help her with it. I have fallen in love with this watch. We have them synced with various android devices.I think some of the features need updating. I struggled trying to connect the Fitcloud app with Google Fit, only to realize later that it was just slow to register information. It took about 24 hours for them to start actually communicating. It is now synced up with google, and keeps track of my steps and various sport data. Unfortunately, it does not automatically transfer any other information. I have been manually adding blood pressure readings and sleep times into google fit, and have yet to see any specific oxygen or heartrate information appear there. However, with the continuous health monitoring, I’m able to look at the Fitcloud app any time for my current average BP, O2, and HR, which is really nice.Since I was generally clueless about smart watches, the first thing I wanted to do was customize this one. I was sad to realize only one face was customizable (and that it does not support apps like watchmaker), but I was able to easily use a photo for the background. I was also sad to realize that some basic customizations were missing, like changing font sizes and colors. I think this should be standard on the customizable face at least, but inevitably, I stopped using the photo-face anyway. It did not have enough data on it for “at a glance”. I’m now using one of the other available watch faces to accommodate that. Again, not my favorite color, but hopefully this is something they can update in future software versions. (It needs more digital faces, less analog, with more data available on them). So far, all of my health readouts are nearly 100% accurate. There is a minor variation in the blood pressure readings (vs a cuff reading), but not enough to be bothered by it. It was not consistently off either, but no more than 3 to 5 points in either direction, and honestly, I didn’t realize how much my BP fluctuates until I started wearing this watch. Those 3 to 5 points could just be one minute to the next. The sleep tracking appears to be accurate as well. Although I can’t say the exact minute that I nod off, the time shown in the app is always really close to my personal guess. The full charge on the battery lasted about 10 days before I needed to charge it again. I’m now on day 17, and it looks like it will need another charge right on schedule. This is really awesome, considering I’ve had constant monitoring enabled the entire time.I found the default band to be comfortable, but then the weather turned hot. I purchased replacement bands (22MM lug), and was able to install them without issue.I then started looking for screen protectors and possibly an adhesive bezel. While the watch face itself is 43MM wide (and really strong! but I bang into things at work a lot), the viewable area is 33MM, so there’s a good amount of black border that I wish I could dazzle up.I first purchased (on a suggestion from this product page) a screen protector designed for the Samsung Galaxy watch. I ordered the 42MM and was surprised to find they sent a 32MM piece of glass. I guess that’s the actual touchable area of the galaxy. I then ordered some galaxy bezels, hoping against hope they would sit on the outside of the glass protector and it would look great! but the bezel openings were 35MM…. so I ordered some more covers, and this time I made sure they were 35MM, but still, the bezel sat too high, and although it stuck to the watch initially, it didn’t take much of a bump to knock it off.Inevitably, I found some 44MM covers for the Samsung Active 2 from EZCO, which fit really nice. It has a black bezel already around it already, that acts as a bumper. My only issue with this is there are some air bubbles that reappear around the face even after I smooth them out. But it’s almost a perfect circle of air, almost looks intentional. I can live with that.I’m unimpressed with the weather function. I’m not sure if there is something I did wrong, but the information does not match my phone, despite having location services turned on and available to the app. It appears to update at midnight with the next days prediction, then nothing… Currently it is 78F outside, but the watch still says 89F which was the prediction for today. Our actual high was 94F today. Again, not a deal breaker. Just a side note. The music function has been pretty handy, but if I get too far away from my phone it loses the link up. I generally keep the phone in my pocket anyway, so the disconnect is a minor issue, but I wish the reconnect was automatic. I also have trouble re-connecting if my bluetooth speaker is still connected to the phone. I usually have to restart my phone to get things back to normal. For these reasons, I just try not to let it disconnect when I’m playing music. Any other time, I’m able to walk away from my phone and it reconnects without issue. Just the disconnect when the bluetooth speaker is connected seems to cause a problem. The stopwatch works as it should, but the timer is a little frustrating. Both features keep the watch on, and you can’t leave that screen without it resetting. This is fine if it’s for a few minutes, but it’s a little annoying that I can’t leave the face and have it keep going. For this reason, I don’t use them very often. My phone timer is better.Lastly, the sports functions seem to be really nice as well. These at least do let the watch go into sleep mode without stopping or resetting. At work, I tell the watch I’m taking a walk, and let it go for hours. It keeps track of how long I walked, how fast, how many calories burned, my step frequency, and a variety of other details, which it sends to google fit, who in turn awards me heart points! It also has an extensive graph that keeps track of your heart rate during sport functions. I can even view my most recent graph on the watch (but it’s easier to read in the app). Unfortunately, that portion of the data doesn’t seem to display in google fit, but that’s fine too. Between the 2 apps, I have a pretty good overall idea of my current state of health, and at the end of the day, this is exactly what I wanted.Hopefully I remembered everything! Ultimately, I recommend this watch 100%.

Bluetoot range really small, the option to find phone doesnt work at all. The option to play music doesnt work either. And the most annoying is that the watch dont stay pair with the cellular. Dont buy this pleaseedit 21-04-2022: there is no option to buy only the cable to charge the watch so if you loose it then you cannot use the watch anymore

The user interface is so smooth, I mean smooth as in Samsung galaxy type UI smooth. Great quality screen and the watch just looks fantastic and more than backs up the great looks with such an amazing operating system that makes wearing this watch a pleasure. I was skeptical as watches around this price range can be very poor quality and frustrating to use, this watch blew that theory out of the water, if you’re due a new watch soon, give this a try.

I ordered this smart watch a couple months ago, and I wanted to wear it and use it for a while before I wrote my review. This is the first smart watch I’ve ever owned, so my review isn’t going to be a comparison with other smart watches, just the pros and cons of this one.The main selling point for me was the price, considering all the features of this watch. This watch is affordable for people on a budget, but it doesn’t look cheap. I did purchase the matching metal mesh band separately (I’ve seen it bundled with the watch as well), because of the poor reviews of the included pink silicone band. The health monitoring features (heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen) seem to be pretty accurate. You can set the watch to regularly monitor these things within the FitCloud Pro app, and it will measure them at least once a day. The sleep tracker is pretty good, too. The only downside to that feature is that it only tracks sleep at night, so if you work the night shift and sleep during the day, it won’t be of much use to you. There are 5 different watch faces to choose from on the watch itself, but there is a library of different watch faces within the FitCloud Pro app. They don’t seem to be customizable, however. The watch is supposed to be water resistant, and I’ve worn it while washing my hands and washing dishes (not submerging the watch), but I take it off to bathe, shower, or swim. It doesn’t seem to be affected by rain or sweat.I’ve been getting 2 weeks out of a full charge on the battery, and it takes about 2 hours to fully charge via the included magnetic USB charge cord. I did change the “raise to wake” feature to turn off between midnight and 6 a.m. (when I am usually asleep), which may contribute to longer battery life. You can link the watch to your smartphone to alert you to incoming calls, text messages, Facebook notifications, and Facebook Messenger messages, along with several other popular messaging apps. Text and Messenger messages will show a preview of the text, but not pictures. For incoming calls, it shows the number and/or contact name, but you can only decline calls from the watch. To answer, you have to use your phone. I have not tried using it to control music from my phone, but that is a feature. The FitCloud Pro app is okay, although I had a bit of trouble “binding” the watch to the app on my phone at first. For my purposes, it works fine. It keeps a running record of the health & sleep trackers, which is handy. My main issue with the watch is it doesn’t have an onboard battery indicator, except when the charger is initially applied, so you have to use the app to see approximately how much life is left (or whether it’s charging). The app only gives a visual indicator, and not a percentage, though.Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase.

I have had the watch for 2 years now and it is a great watch. I bought it for work and now I feel lost without it, and I am not a watch/jewelry person. The charge lasts forever. I charge it once a month or so. 2.5 weeks for heavy use. It is worth the price. I haven’t even replaced the band, but I have one in my cart now. For the price alone, it is worth the purchase. As the page says it does not answer calls or send texts. You can read incoming texts to see if you need to respond in a more timely manner, and you can decline a call. Given my job, that’s all I need because I’m normally too busy otherwise.

So I frfr have no time to sit and charge my watch and phone and Bluetooth speaker all the time when I’m trying to go workout but I have charged this watch only 2 times since I bought it and I think I have had it like 3 or 4 weeks now! This thing holds a charge better than any other watch I have used before! I have been cheap and just bought whatever was on sale but this one is actually spent a little more than I wanted to buy it was worth the money! This thing in is accurate because I have tested it against a normal BP machine and takingy oxygen and run it with the results from the watch and it’s always spot on! I have no complaints at all!

Really happy with my new purchase, long battery life, love the colour, does everything I wanted from it

Fantastic watch would highly recommend! Easy to use & setup, comfortable to wear, great styling, feels like an expensive watch built with quality materials!

The watch was very easy to set up and app was easy to install. I had to search to set up time/measurements for me kinda wished the startup included that feature. I did replace the strap for a more sleek style as I have big wrists so I don’t like the look and feel of thick bands. Honestly I had an expensive Fitbit that lasted on 14 months, will not spend that kind of money again. I really like the watch for the price. I love the large face it is easy to see. Overall I would recommend.

I’ve had this item now less than a week. After a few days the screen started where it wont allow me to swipe left or right so I can only view the watch face. I have no access to the sports modes, stop watch, HR etc. Also, yesterday evening I charged the watch to 100%Woke up this morning and battery was down to 70% so in the space of about 12 hours (remember I have no access to any features on the watch apart from the watch face itself) the battery has gone down 30%Not happy with product at all.

  11. Sean

Had this watch for over a week now and no issues really good connects to phone and can see incoming calls and messages. Good step count. Can also change the watch face to your own picture using the app. Really good for the price ?

So been happy for the most part with the watch. I have owned much more expensive onse but this does the job.Pros: long battery life, I charge it about once a monthSize: it is low profile so not big and heavy.Cons:1. Text quality seems a little low but can still read it no problem and open.2.Screen got a small scratch kind of easy so put a protector on it. (The screen sticks out over being level or sunken to the bezel so takes more hits)3. Can’t get the screen to stay on even when I changed that setting. This isn’t a big deal and does extended the battery life.
