I am not an audiophile but very into hi-fi (B&W speakers, duo subs, with Hegel amp at home, Burmester in car and Bose QC3 for travel). I watched quite a few reviews before decided on this one.Initial Impression:Just received it today, charged up to full in about an hour. (the unit might partially charged when arrival). Pairing with iPhone is easy and quick. Wearing is comfortable, but not sure I can wear it stable enough when golfing. Looks very nice, but I expect the gold rings color will fade away after some use, let’s see. The speaker works much better indoor, or in a quiet place. (I might speak to the obvious here).Sound Quality- BASS is not good as I expected but improving (see update 6), and I assume other brands can be worse. But I did expect more bass out of this. All the reviews I’ve seen seems suggest this one is better than others (like Sony, maybe even Boss), but compare with my Boss QC3 headset, there is no bass to show. The speaker somehow does a little vibration when play bass heavy content, so it is funny that you feel it but can’t hear it 🙂 For normal content with less bass, the sound is fine. Also, the sound/bass seems shifting all the time. Other review mentioned some sort of aggressive build-in filter. I am not knowledgeable enough to comment. I haven’t try equalizer app. For small, less power driven speakers like this, I might asking too much.- Mid/Highs, vocals, male and female, are great. Very clear. I guess that is as good as you can get out of any neckband speaker.- surprisingly good for Classical music. Piano sounds full and powerful. String music is nicely detailed. Even orchestra sounds satisfying. This is totally unexpected, because Piano is the most difficult to sound right!Don’t have enough hours to see other aspects. Will update if something worthy comes up.Update 1 after a few days – tried the Spotify equalizer as others recommended, and the vibration is reduced, but bass is still very weak if there is any. It seems like a failed engineering where all the effort to boost bass turned into vibration of speaker, rather than low frequency sound, and damaging the mid and hi. Lowered to 3-star, and start considering return.Update 2 – tried in golf course, and it is a bad idea. It will fall off when you swing, and it can easily mess up your swing too.Update 3 – the battery died on the 7th day, average daily use is about 45min, WAY SHORT than 12 hours play time advertised.Update 4 – after the 2nd full charge to the battery, it does seem to last around 12 hours. So I assume my first charge is not really a full charge. Also, I kind of used to the weak bass now, so move the overall rating back to 4-star, and decide to keep this one. However, the problem other people reported still hold true: The bass is indeed very weak. If you don’t use equalizer to turn down the bass, the other frequency sound will be affected when heavy base note hits. Equalizer will stabilize the music, but will NOT enhance the bass that is not there.Update 5 – I also agree with other reviewers that the voice command is annoying, and the startup volume is embarrassingly high. However, the overall sound quality is decent, and walking around with it is a good choice.Update 6 – using it for 5 months now, and the base seems improving and acceptable now! It seems the speaker need some break in period like the regular speakers.

I bought this cause I’ve never really liked headphones or earbuds and didn’t want to spend loads of money before trying this style of speaker out. I primarily use them outside near roads so I’m not worried about super accurate sound but for the price point, these do the job very well. They are not heavy on bass either which I like, as it seems like most new speakers go way overboard with it. When I listen to podcasts the voice is clear.Dislikes, they are a tad thick compared to another pair I tried that just had a thin tube around the back of your neck but it’s not enough to be bothersome. It is kind of small. For me, I’m right at the edge for fit. If you have a thick neck they may be too tight. My neck is 18″If you are looking for a good value these are it. If you want a first pair to try out these are a good choice. If you don’t like heavy bass in your music these fit the bill.

+Loud-With audiobooks, the pauses in paragraphs (or even if the narrator pauses between sentences) – this device detects ‘absence of sound’ and shuts off the speaker drivers. It seems to be approximately a second gap puts it in this mode. Upon resumption of speaking the first several hundred milliseconds of the word is dropped. WHich gives this perception of a bad stuttering.I’m using a android phone for the source. it plays great using many other bluetooth devices so it isn’t the OS or App doing this. The only remedy I found was to play a constant tone or sound through a second App so this speaker never goes into, what I assume, is some kind of annoyingly aggressive power-saving mode. The ‘Ambience’ App on the Play store has a nice assortment of tones and backgrounds to choose from that work Ok – and you can lower the volume of just that sound ‘feed’ so that it doesn’t interfere with the audiobook playback.-Buttons are far too close together for easy distinguishing at a touch which is which. So it can be fiddlely to control. You have to long press the up/down to adjust volume, those up/down buttons are also the next/last track controls which can lead to misunderstanding of what you are doing with the control.-The rubber flap on the USB port won’t stay in-place. It is going to get ripped/broken off. Uses a older USB mini jack rather than USB-C.-The speakers have a very fine alignment/projection. if the unit rotates on your neck a little off-center you will discern a volume imbalance left to right.

I bought this for my mom who is in a Care Facility. She has some hearing loss and would have her tv volume turned up so loud her roommate couldn’t hear her tv. Had to buy a Bluetooth adapter for her tv to connect the neckband and once installed the neckband connected easily. The neckband is comfortable to wear and not heavy on your neck. Only disappointment is the volume. It just doesn’t seem to be as high as needed but my mom can hear it good enough. Great product for the money and I would recommend it.

I have some trouble listening to television at the same volume level as everybody else; I need the volume higher to understand what’s being said. The problem with earbuds is that they block outside sound too much; I can’t listen to television dialogue and conversations and comments around me at the same time. This little speaker setup seems to have solved this issue.I can adjust the volume up just a little, and still hear someone next to me. There is a little bit of latency that makes the tv have a bit of an echo, but it isn’t too bad if the tv volume is relatively lower. The best setup is to have the tv volume nearly all the way down, and these speakers up to a volume that’s comfortable to me; the person next to me can hear it, too, so we both get to hear just fine AND comment to each other. Win-win!!The best scenario is getting to watch tv late at night at my own comfort level, and still be able to hear anything that might come up…this was always my fear when wearing earbuds at night (I wouldn’t be able to hear anything outside of the television).Although the neck speaker system is hard plastic, it’s quite light, and so very comfortable around my neck. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate. The fidelity is great (I’ve raised up the volume all the way up) for what I’ve been using it for. The built-in inherent EQ tends to put it in the higher frequency range (most likely because the speakers are so small), but I didn’t find it annoying or distracting. If earbuds or headphones are not what you want, I’d recommend trying this out.Recommended,.

Overall I have to admit that I didn’t think this would be as impressive as it is. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Simple and easy to access controls on the unit. It immediately paired with my iPhone and I haven’t experienced any dropouts at all.The sound quality is terrific with very good bass and discernible separation between left and right channels. It effectively creates a surround experience between the four upward facing speakers. Obviously there are no noise canceling features and others near you can hear what you’re listening to.the one real disappointment is the use of micro-usb for charging. I can’t remember the last device ghat used this connection and I feel that USB-C would have been a smarter choice. But apart from that, I really like this unit.

It took me a minute to get used to the music coming from close to my ears rather than from earbuds. It has the quality of surround sound versus stereo sound (if that makes sense.) A big plus is that I feel comfortable using it in a work environment without feeling like I’m putting myself or others at risk. I can hear everything and the music at the same time. I keep it at a modest volume so I can hear it and not bother anyone else while hearing what is happening in my surroundings. The only problem I have had is switching from music to phone calls (it may be a user error). When I change to answering a call, the volume isn’t the same.

Adequate sound. Really great personal speaker for tv or audio books podcasts etc. Battery life though…ugh. Depending on what you listen to, classical or talk wild get a good 5 to 7 hours on a full charge, at high volume but anything else, anything heavy on bass, jazz, rock, hip hop, house, trance, dance, etc lucky to get 3 hours even on low vol. Luckily though, they will still operate while charging. When at work I just plug into a portable charger when the battery gets low and that solves the disappointing battery life. Love the idea, and still happy I bought it. Nice to be able to listen to my tunes, still be able to hear my surroundings, and not force everyone else to have to listen to my Playlist. Earbuds and headphones aren’t allowed for safety reasons at my job. Also great at night when I want to stay up and watch TV,have “surround sound ” and not disturb the rest of the house peeps who are sleeping.

I currently work as a laborer at Amazon and I wanted a way to work around the ‘no earbud’ policy. This does the trick. Even the managers told me it was a smart idea after they saw me with it. I hook it up to spotify and listen to Joe Rogan and LoFi on my 10.5 hour shifts and the time flies by.A key downside is that if I’m doing physical activity, the sweat can build between my skin and where this thing is laying and it can smell sweaty after a short while so I gotta clean it once a day or more but besides that it’s made my job far less mind-numbing.I just need some audio books now.

My main issue is the battery doesn’t last 12hrs like advertised, I only got about 7 and my work day is 8! I didn’t like how delayed connection either. Other than that it’s an awesome product. I work next to a blast room so the volume wasn’t loud enough, however,I still heard it, just not as clearly as I wanted to. But once again I worked in a very loud environment, so hearing it was a plus.

Bought this to connect with TV and doesn’t work.

The only thing that I wish is that the charge would last ten hours for my work shift, it does however last eight hours before needing a charge. Other than that I absolutely love the sound quality especially due to me working in a loud factory.

My husband loves this product. He can now ride his electronic bike, listen to music and still hear cars and sirens. It also has a great sound.

This product is a new way of having a wireless device and also not having to have an ear piece. The sound is amazing.

These do not only look odd for Bluetooth headphones, but they also sound odd, too. And not odd in a bad way, odd in an odd way. For me, putting them on almost makes the music feel like the sound is coming up my neck through my skin, and also like it completely surrounds you, but focuses right behind your head. Obviously no good for private matters like most Bluetooth headphones, but super unique and not at all terrible. They do feel a bit cheaply made to the touch and the micro-USB charging is a bit outdated at this point, but I can’t say I am not a fan, if for nothing but how unique they are.

Im not sure its the best sound quality but its not too bad. Whats good is its just easy to slap around your neck and take off. I like the freedom of no head phones over my ears. This model even lets you put your own music on it in case you left don’t have bluetooth music available.
