I bought this waistcoat for my husband as he works outside in All Weathers out on the Northumberland moors! All I can say is that it is bloody marvellous, he really loves it. He finds the 3 heat settings easy to use and loves that it warms his neck as well – a great buy

I’m a 38 inch chest so ordered the large and it’s a perfect fit. You don’t want it to be a baggy fit as the heat won’t be effective. As I am outdoors a lot I came across this heated gilet and decided to give it a go. What a great piece of kit, even in frosty conditions I’ve stayed in the garden all day, you hardly notice the heat until you come indoors for a cuppa and then you have to turn it off. I’ve deducted a star as the zip is a bit fiddly and could be better.The material is comfortable and the gilet looks good in my opinion. The battery pack in just the right size and I personally don’t even notice its there. I will use one of my phone battery packs as a secondary pack if I’m outdoor more than several hours, although there’s different heat settings but Ive only had it since the recent frosts so only used it on max heat..A tad expensive and I’m yet to be able to review how long it will last.

Bought this for my elderly dad and be loves it! It’s well made and he finds it simple to use. Nicely presented in a zip bag and with clear instructions, you definitely get a feeling of quality. Variable power settings are useful – low is great for moderate activity like walking and my dad finds the high setting is only really needed if he’s standing around. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the gilet works well. I’ve worn this watching football at around 0-2 degrees on a few occasions and it keeps my torso nicely warm on the middle (white) setting. I haven’t tried the blue setting but would imagine that works well on a spring/autumn evening to take the chill away. After approx 2 hours on the white setting the battery is still has 50-75% so I cannot imagine that it would run out when required, so long as it is charged properly (it charges like a power bank, quite slowly so bear in mind to keep it topped up if using often).Where it loses marks is on the top setting (red), where it seems to turn itself off after a few minutes. I’m not sure if this is a fault or down to it self-regulating at a certain temperature. The instructions are extremely basic and it does not explain this so while I’m happy with the gilet, I’m not sure if I’ve got a faulty one!As I say though, the white setting does the job at very low temperatures while inactive so ‘red’ will hardly be required. Just a shame that they haven’t given a little more detail on what is otherwise a very good product.

I researched and tried a few different brands of heated jackets – this is by far the best. Well made, looks good and comes with own power bank. The warmth is wonderful, esp the neck warming section which no other gilet offers as far as I’m aware. Battery has its own zipped pocket on the side which is great positioning both for comfort and convenience. All round, the best heated jacket out there. Ended up buying one for myself as well as my father!

I purchased this for my son who takes buses to work daily. The problem has always been just how much clothing to wear so you are not too hot or too cold. Outside waiting for the bus you’re cold then when you get on the bus your hot. This jacket went a long way to solve this problem. Since it’s adjustable he can put it on high when he’s waiting and lower it when he gets on the bus. It fits easily under his coat. Easy to recharge. Overall definitely a five star item.
