Most of the time, we here at Crunchwear focus in on wearable tech that is, you know, hi-tech. Once in a while though, something low tech comes around that is so filled with ingenuity, so potentially useful, that we can’t help but write about it. It’s just interesting to us to see an invention that could have been created at any time and yet, and yet, was only created just now. This goes doubly if said creation solves a problem in a unique and interesting way.

With that in mind, let us introduce the ReUp Peel & Stick Shirt Pocket. Can you guess what it does? If you said it’s an interchangeable and stickable shirt pocket you get an old box of cookies from the 1970s. It was created by Etsy user Ryan Vanderbilt and not only are these doodads functional, they are aesthetically pleasing as well. How do these little pieces of Silicon Valley(circa 1950) work? Well, it’s just like the name suggests. They work like stickers. You peel them off and stick them on your shirt. Sort of like a band-aid. Now every t-shirt in your arsenal can be properly equipped with a pocket protector! Nerd.

You can buy these sticky fashion accessories at $15 a pop. And, just so you know, nothing in the manual says you can’t affix these suckers to other pieces of clothing besides shirts. You can start a new fashion trend! The world has been dying to wear pairs of clown shoes that feature colorful pockets, after all.
