I tend to get very annoyed with reviews that provide no useful information. We have had our Lunix 3 for over a month, and use it every night. So I will review it, providing the info I wanted to know when I was considering purchasing it for the first time. The difference between the Lunix 3 and Lunix 7 is a different configuration of the same settings on Lunix 3. The L7 has a longer timer option, and is a touch screen. The inside opening is 4 5/8 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches high. My husband is 6’4″ with large hands and long fingers. He has absolutely no problem putting his hand in the massager. He does technical assembly work, using his hands constantly, and they get really sore and achy. This massager is really soothing! The inside fabric is a like stretchy nylon or polyester, smooth to the touch. The “massage” is not what you would think of as a rubbing-type of massage. It’s actually compression and release. It has several settings you can combine to find what works for you. The “bumps” people speak of are underneath the fabric. They are what’s used to apply the compression. They will leave dots on your hands, but they go away in a short amount of time.Using a port on our TV or computer, it takes about 7 hrs to charge, which seems too long, but worth the wait. I wish Lunix would come out with an actual plug-into-the-wall charger that would go faster. It flashes while charging, and beeps twice to let you know when it’s done. We don’t use the heat, or the vibration, simply because we don’t need it, and it would run the battery down faster. Therefore, we get a good 3+ hrs of battery life before it needs to be recharged. I recommend letting it run all the way down, then charge all the way up. You cannot use it while it’s charging. If you are elderly (we are), or have tiny hands, I think it would work best probably on lowest settings, with or without heat, and vibration. If you have doubts, just try it! The Lunix people are really nice, and quickly responsive. And, Amazon’s return policy makes it easy to return if you don’t like it.

I want to bring this everywhere I go just to have a quick massage but I’m too afraid of having someone steal it, it’s too amazing!! I keep it at home and massage both my hands n wrists usually takes 20 mins to finish a massage and it auto shuts off. It’s durable too! I’ve fallen asleep with it on, and it just tumbled off the bed onto the floor no damage, lol didn’t wake me up either. Very dotty hands afterwards but this way you know what settings do what. If you have bad carpo or just work with your hands a lot, this is the best thing I’ve found for relief. I can skip some days too because the pain goes away almost instantly after 1 session.

Works very well all in all. But…..the vibration could be a lot stronger and only two settings. Not very useful at the current strength. Heat is not what I thought it would be. The instructions say it will take 10 minutes to feel effect of heat so when you run the machine for the full 15 minutes before it automatically shuts down, you only get in theory only 5 minutes of heat therapy. The heat is not that warm either. The pressure part of the machine is impressive and seems to function well on all 12 settings. I would have given this 5 stars if not for the pathetic vibration mode and the pathetic heat mode. I did like that it was made right here in the u.s.a.. came.with a nice carring case and a nifty little finger roller massage device that I liked. It does help. All in all, a well built machine but time will tell. I should mention that I can get 2 fifteen minute sessions per hand and still have battery life left. A+.

Received 2 days ago, and have mixed feelings, but will contact the seller/company. My unit does not heat that I can tell. Most disappointing because heat helps my lupus hand pain. Aside from no heat, the vibration is good, the massage/compression is good on the lowest setting for my hands, and this unit enclose the wrist, and the massage & compression help on the wrist. Problems: the heat function! The compression on higher settings is intense. Lower setting is good, but it does leave temporary “dots” impressions on the skin. The small hand warmer that was enclosed got so hot it burnt out on the first try. No longer functional, but will contact the maker. So, mixed feelings, will try it for a couple days but will contact the seller. May return/exchange.

I absolutely love this product. It is portable and is exactly as advertised. As someone who works with their hands all day, I use it as soon as I get in the office to “warm up” my hands and at the end of the day to “calm them down.”What makes this product excellent however is the customer service provided when I reached out about the hand warmer and the response was immediate and thoughtful. The customer service pushed this product from excellent to exceptional.Great job Linux!

The pressure feels good and helps to loosen the joints in the hand and wrist. It takes 10 minutes for it to heat up and you barely feel the vibration. Overall, I happy with my purchase.
