My Doctor suggested to apply heat to relieve a stiff and painful neck. So I purchased this product and I found that it helped me quite a bit. Initially set the temperature control to 3, later to 4. I did cover my neck so that my bear skin was not exposed directly to the heat. It felt relaxing and the heat made me feel even sleepy. I didn’t feel the need to increase the temperature. The only downside is that you are not to lean against it , including not sitting or laying on it. In general, I am satisfied with this purchase.

I’ve tried LOTS of neck/Shoulder heating pads and they all suck. This one doesn’t. The neck portion ACTUALLY HEATS, the whole thing is nicely weighted, it is shaped to fit actual human shoulders and necks, and it gets really warm pretty quickly. You can unplug the cord and wash the whole thing, which made me nervous but has been working so far. Downside: It stinks when it gets hot until you wash it.

I have never had a weighted heat pack. It’s amazing and this neck and shoulder wrap feels like a warm and cozy hug. Super Plush. It has snaps for the front in case your up and moving around but it’s not necessary when relaxing. The remote control is so easy to use to adjust the heat level and set a timer for up to 9 hours (although that seems quite intense. You should probably read the instructions) And I find it nice that the display only light up when adjusted. It doesn’t stay lit and glow in your face. Bonus: the aqua is pretty.

Do the heating elements extend to side of neck or just in center? I have left side neck pain.
I took mine out to actually feel it. It does have a place on each side where there are 2 wires. I was having some bad pain with a left kink in my neck and this helped a lot in relaxing it out. I think it would also help if you turned it around and held the side of it up on your neck if you wanted more heat actually on the side of your neck. I think it is a great product for me.

I don’t know what the temperatures are for each level. No information is given for this. I always set my mine for level nine, and that works very well for me.
