Have been using these for 2 days. Instructions are ridiculous – illegible fine print on a big accordion of colored paper, useless and confusing. Tap controls, pairing – all OK, but no thanks to the Quick-Start Manual. Youtube video about the previous model and 1/2 hour on the internet saved the day.Bad surprises:- no volume control by tapping buds. Listening to a non-normalized playlist or changing environment (coming into the street) requires constant picking the phone to adjust the volume.- intermittent loss of sound while playing music (probably app compatibility, games, and calls were going well with no interruptions)Good stuff (expected):- comfy fit, no fear of dropping- great sound, especially once the equalizer got tuned up on the phone- so far good battery life, did not test it till it’s dead though

I love the JBL quality. When you use earbuds like this you really hear the music inside of your head. It is crisp and clear. When listening to music I often hear parts that I simply couldn’t hear before. However, these little earbuds can be tricky to use and get used to. You MUST use the right earbud first for it to connect through bluetooth, and once connected remove the LEFT one from the case. At that time the left and right earbuds will pair together. You also cant be connected to more than one source at a time. So if you have 2 laptops for example, you must unpair them from one before they will connect to the other.Other than that the sound quality is excellent and totally worth it. They hold a charge all day for work calls and meetings. The built in mic sounds great so no problems with that. You cannot control the volume from the earbuds so you must adjust it from the source. If someone was talking to me while wearing these I wouldn’t hear anything at all from them. They are wonderful. These buds come with 3 different tip sizes. I am a young woman and used the smallest ones and they fit very easily. They stay put and are comfortable to wear. So just make sure to change the tip size to find one that works best for you.

Pros:1. Good sound quality and basses.2. Batteries are good in both the earbuds and the case.3. Assembly quality is really great.4. Earbuds are quite comfortable for me.Cons:1. Too loud minimal volume when connected to Android smartphones. It can’t be adjusted and the firmware can’t be updated. The minimal volume is adjustable when connected to Windows systems though.2. Connectivity Issues: the left earbud gets constantly disconnected when connected to Windows systems.3. No volume control on the earbuds themselves.

Lost a star due to install.I love JBL and find their products to be more than worth their price in terms of everything that matters: durability, sound quality, longevity, ease, etc., etc. That in mind, these buds are wonderful. Working out with my JBL headphones was becoming a pain so I ordered these. Lovely little things and I’m mad I didn’t order them sooner. However, setting them up was shockingly time consuming and weird. My phone was recognizing them as two separate entities instead of one device. I couldn’t get them to work together. If this happens to you, press both of the buttons on the buds three times simultaneously each time. This will connect the two buds together. Why that’s not the default feature is an odd oversight, but it’s an extra step you might have to do. The manual wasn’t overly clear on this.

Sound quality is amazing base is slammin highs are tunable the price is unbeatable the sound quality all around wow. As you can see I have the Sonys the Status Between Pro the Ue Fits the Bose and now the JBL’s. Sonys are great for noise cancellation ambient sound the battery on them absolutely suck they last for about an hour. the status between Pro has a long battery life and an absolutely huge the volume level decibels are unbelievable sound quality is good. The UE fits they’re a gimmick they’re supposedly supposed to form to your ear when you put them in for the first time I don’t think so. the sound is OK they’re great for sleeping because they’re easy to lay on a pillow without them digging into your ear . The Bose are mediocre they suck for riding bikes because wind blows in them and you get a lot of feedback sound from the wind as do the Sony’s the best pair to wear under a balaclava JBL by far ! the JBL’s battery is unbelievably long 8 to 10 hours im getting out of them connectability was maybe 10 seconds it’s a little bit hard to push the buttons to stop and play and all that gaga literally have to hold the earbud with your other hand and push the button or else you shove them down your ear canal trying to push the button so there is no accidental button push That’s for sure! overall sound quality the Sony’s probably are the best if you want to listen to one album and then recharge them . then I would say the JBL’s status Bose and then the UE but all around for the money you cannot beat the JBL’s Put them in your cart and buy them and make sure you pick up some foam tips the foam tips make any set of earbuds fit your ear perfectly and it doesn’t matter which ones you get as far as brand they all fit in medium on any brand earbud

After going through cheaper headsets (buying them expecting to replace them because of being lost, broken, etc.), I stepped up a little bit more and bought these. I’ve had them for maybe 2 years now? And they definitely got their use, between running/gym and casual listening. They sound pretty good, for 60 bucks. The durability is definitely better than the previous earbuds I have purchased. They do tend to dislodge from my ears when jumping/running vigorously over time, not terribly bad, but I do have to readjust them in my ears every 15 minutes or so.Sound wise, slightly more in depth, it is JBL…. Pretty mid-grade sound quality. The lows are not bad, the treble is fine. Nothing crazy to write home about… If you are a true audiophile, you might want something better. But its also $60, so you probably know that. And for quality of sound, it’s about right for the price point.I consider myself a lil bit of an audiophile but I don’t feel like breaking the bank for something that isn’t equally better quality per dollar (law of diminishing returns), especially something this portable that the wear and tear possibility goes up drastically. I’m okay with these getting the job done for the fair price.Overall, I would have probably given it 4 stars out of the box and early on, but the durability and how well it has done me for the price over time, I have to give it a little extra credit.

These are great! I bought them mainly for work. On Saturday at the factory we are allowed earbuds. I Recieved them in Friday and tried them out. Amazing sound quality! I had to adjust sound settings to get the treble to shine through but once I did that the sound is amazing! Working in a factory, I couldn’t hear any noise bleeding through, only the music. I worked an 8 hour shift and these were only charged to 70% at the beginning of my shift. The battery life is outstanding on these. Comfortable fit, hours of use while working and no issue with them sliding around in my ear, they stay firmly in place. I gave 4 stars because of only one small issue. Sometimes there is a slight lag, and when it “catches up” it’ll speed up the tempo of the song for a few seconds. Other than that these are perfect. Highly recommend for music and for hands free calling. (Call feature is also amazing, people say they hear me better than actually using the phone speaker.) If youre looking for great earbuds for a fraction of the price of other buds of the same quality, These JBLs are the way to go! Amazing purchase 😁

As many who have purchased these ear buds, there are no clear instructions on how to use them from JBLanywhere, just very confusing and limited illustrations. After spending two hours with only one ear bud working thru my Ipod and having Apple earbuds that NEVER did this I was minutes from returning until I checked my old friend Google and found the answer. Thses ear buds MUST BE PAIRED TO EACH OTHERbefore you attempt to do anything else, nowhere is that stated in the limited instructions unless you like Mono and of course no mention on that on that from JBL. I found how to pair the earbuds 1st on google, shame on you JBL, and once that is completed they do work about as good as my Apple earbuds.

I had samsung ear buds but my dog decided that they would make a nice light snack so i wanted to try something else. I have a pair of wired JBL’s and they sound great so i wanted to see if these would be juat as good. Sadly theyre not. They fall out of my ear while walking my dogs… the buttons to pause or change songs are hatd to push … theyre buttons not sensors like most other wireless ear buds. Music sound is good..incall sound is good as well but the people youre phining claim you sound like youre on a conference call and are always asking you to repeat everything… very annoying… 3 STARS maybe 4 because theyre not better then the Edyell brand i bought those for the price are great Fit great and dont slip out. Music sound is amazing but call sound sucks as well sound cuts out but for the $50 i classify them as betterSheerness: average:.. feel and look bulky.Noise Cancelation: could be better especially if they came with larger rubber ear fittingsSound and Quality: music sound is really good compared to my samsungs but call quallity is average. People complain they cant hear me very good claim i sound like i am talking on a speaker

I bought these for lectures and gaming mostly. I listen to music only while I am mowing the lawn. There is a very annoying 1 to 1.5 second audio delay (Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc.). There are no firmware on the earbuds to update as well. High quality internet speeds in the house so when I called Harmon Kardon’s technical support team, they basically said to deal with it. On a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G with all the updates on board as well as a newer laptop running Win10, and there isn’t a thing I could do to reduce the lag. I am using it for Spotify and audio files, so I do not notice the latency, but they are absolutely useless for any gaming and all streaming services. I have cheap pair of $30 knock-off brand that does the job for the streaming stuff. Wish these were better in that department and I would have given it 5 stars.
