I can certainly attest to this being waterproof. I just got back from a few hours kayaking and during the trip, I flipped over. I thought it was done for but as soon as I got it above the water I could hear it. It had never stopped playing. a couple hours later when I flipped over again, the only reason I knew my phone and speaker were gone for good was that I couldn’t hear it playing anymore. I could hear it playing as it floated down river, but I almost broke my ankle on a rock so I had to let them go. Hope your use with this speaker goes better than mine.

As a fellow who works in a Amazon warehouse and processes your guy’s packages, I was surprised by the performance of this speaker. I mainly got it to take with me to work, and it blew me away.Firstly let’s discuss the battery life. JBL claims 10 hours and they are not wrong! I thought the 10 hours was some kind of highball or under very specific conditions like low volume it’s able to achieve it but no. I work 10,11,12 hour shifts and I blast it almost full blast and the thing just never dies.The sound is also pretty good, it can get quite loud for the tiny speaker that it is. I’ve seen other JBLs with better BASS than this one but they were much bigger as well so.
