This is a only smart not android watch… sim insert option,no Google search option

  2. k sankara rao

Battery life was excellent as compared to other smart watches.. Everything was so smooth but Software updates are not happening in our country. I don’t know why???I’m waiting for updates…if it’s done it’s excellent in every aspect.

Anyone looking for a stylish smart watch with not many fancy features but all basic functions, this is the right product for you.Pros:Extremely lightweightSuperb battery lifeDisplay looks really goodSpeakers and Mic work wellNo issue in connecting to iOSHeart rate and other biometrics are on pointCons.Lacks basic features like customised watch facesVery limited option in always on displayNo option to set custom notification soundsWake up when you move your wrist is sometimes buggyInterface can get annoying to operate with the two side buttonsAll in all, if you’re looking for features then this watch lacks a lot of the fancy ones. But if you’re a person looking for good looking smart watch with basic features and insane battery life of 2 week, then go for it

Why WRONG DESCRIPTION?. I bought this model for a gift and he realised it has not got any speaker and mic. I am very disappointed with it.

  5. Tristan Sturm

So far so good. Says delivery is 1 to 2 months, mine arrived in a week. Bought with price cut from £179 to 139! Good deal, nice looking watch.

  6. FingerusArthriticus

First off, this is the most accurate smart/health watch I have ever seen. I set it up and calibrated it by walking 2 miles outside with gps on. Then I walked 2 miles on my treadmill. When my treadmill read 2 miles the Huawei read 1.98 miles. That is pretty darn accurate! I just don’t understand the calorie count; it seems to only count calories when the user is active. If anyone has info on this, please let me know.

  7. Marc Matthews

Runs very well, but I was really bummed when I return to Costa Rica and find out that the watch it’s been sold for half of what I paid.

  8. Jose

Nice watch, just not enough can’t reply to texts, the watch faces are limited, the ones it comes with are not bad..not enough choices..the battery life is amazing! You can answer and recieve calls..this watch just needs more 3rd part applications and able to do more and it would be a power house..

  9. an vo

Great watch but you can’t change your face due to USA/China political, I’m very disappointed, is a nice watch but this is a smartwatch and you can’t change the face OMG😔

Was looking for a watch with built in GPS and offline music for running and notifications for work with greater than 1 day battery life. The GT 2 seemed to tick all the boxes on paper but fell short in a couple crucial areas for me.Pro’s+ The best feature of this watch is the battery life. During 6 days of use I took it on 3 runs with GPS, HR, and music streaming. Plus sleep tracking on several nights and still had 60% battery remaining. Would definitely last 2 weeks for me (not using always on display).+ Attractive, bright display and Black metal construction looks clean, professional, and like a traditional timepiece.+ Huawei Health app is intuitive and detailed. Can scrub through HR, sleep and running pace data to look at specific data points.+Less expensive than Garmin Venu and Apple Watch.+ Watch paired to my Bluetooth headphones and played music flawlessly on runs. Convenient swipe right from running app to change track and adjust volume. Just difficult to get music on it … More on this later.- GPS was a little slow to lock compared to Garmin Venu but just as accurate.Cons:- Deal breaker 1: Heavy and bulky. I have average size wrists for a guy but the 46mm face is too large for fitness comfort. Even with the band really tight, I could feel the watch wiggle with every swing of the arm while running. Very distracting.- running coach shouts at you constantly when pace or heart rate is out of range. You can turn it off if determined enough to locate the setting but the implementation of the feature was half baked Actually startled me on several occasions on runs it was so loud and continuous. No way to pause or silence while running.- Deal breaker 2: horribly innacurate heart rate. I’m 49 so max heart rate should be 171. It told me I was reaching 195 while running at a comfortable pace … Hence the coach telling at me. It must have though I was having a heart attack. 🙂 At least 30 bpm high. Same thing while sleeping, recorded 75 bpm while my resting is often in the

First off let’s get this out of the cannot reply to messages. Other than that this is the perfect fitness smart watch I have owned. The gt2 gives you audio and vibration for alerts, you can talk on it and speaker on watch is very loud..alarm works great with ocean sounds and vibration to wake you..moniters your stress ,sleep and heart rate.Gps locks quickly with voice driven direction on your exercise. Weather info very accurate . .If I had any negatives to say limited watch faces ..other than that I use the watch features heavily and still get 2 weeks battery… amazing..and the screen?..better than my Galaxy watch with clarity and brightness.. recommended.

  12. Dylan Atwal

Incredible and useful the battery life is amazing and it charges in about an hour to full I can go with this watch for up to a week without charging and there’s no catch to that they don’t change any brightness or restrict apps. Very good monitoring even at my teen age, excellent measures of bpm and the stress levels seem to be accurate. It’s thin and fits my really small wrist comfortably the watch strap can fit any wrist size… Just amazing!!!!

  13. david organ

The clock is not very bright, and it only stays on for about 1 second, and i have to shake my wrist quite hard to get the time. Not recommended

  14. RodgerT

Really slim and neat on the wrist (I have a small wrist) and the battery life is amazing. minimum 4 days with all functions on.

I bought this for my husband who had previously had ‘smart’ watches, ranging from Sony (at the mid-range end) to cheap Chinese versions. He had principally used them for step counts and social and other media alerts. Having experienced these devices, he wanted to go slightly higher end and was impressed with reviews he had read about battery life on the GT2. As he has small wrists, he opted for this (the 42mm) version of the GT2, rather than the larger one. He would have preferred the larger version, for its better overall looks and functionality, but all in all, he was after comfort (the Sony for instance being far too large and uncomfortable). He has had the watch now for two months and uses it in conjunction with the Huawei Health app on his Huawei P30.Good points: the long battery life; comfort, smart sleek appearance; ultra-clear screen; GPS tracking; wide range of overall fitness options and stats recording; heart-rate (extremely accurate); the ability to change the watch strap; Bluetooth connectivity and range; stable connectivity.Bad points: the majority of watch faces have a typically ‘tacky’ Chinese look about them and there are not that many he likes (the default one is probably the best). Note: The Huawei app has already been updated several times and watch faces are always being added, so in time, he hopes more ‘classy’ watch-faces will be introduced; there is no ability in the app to say when sleep period starts and ends (it is either ‘on’ or ‘off’) and if he settles down for the night to watch TV, the watch thinks he has gone to sleep due to no activity! It clearly also cannot determine if he is awake but still but this is the same as most smart watches? So, this results in the watch recording more ‘awake’ periods i.e.when he goes to bed and this distorts his sleep quality stats; alerts vibration is weak (even when set to high); no mic/speaker.If considering this watch do consider the 46mm version as it does offer more functionality (such as the ability to use the watch to receive calls). Overall, my husband is very happy with his watch. The app is stable and reliable when used in conjunction with his Huawei phone. He only wishes he has bigger wrists so he could use the 46mm version.

Although not as feature rich as other smart watches it makes up for it in other areas, the battery lasts about a week and the mobile app shows a lot of fitness and sleep data and seems to be pretty accurate. We have the Huawei scales and they work well together giving a lot of weight related measurements and seem to be very consistent. You can get basic smart features like messages and call notifications and alarms which is enough for me, maybe not enough for everyone. We have the Nokia/Withings fitness/smartwatch and scales and find the Huawei is preferred.

I have owned three other smart watches, the latest being the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and the biggest complaint I have with all of them is the battery life. watching the battery through out the day was a pain. My requirements for a smart watch are simple:1) At least a week of battery life2) Provides notifications of emails, text messages and news headlines3) Aesthetically pleasing to me4) Priced around $2005)Fitness AppsThe watch has features that I would not use i.e. sleep tracking, stress test, music player, ability to answer a phone call. Then there are features that are not available that some people consider important i.e. ability to respond to messages, NFC payments, ability to download and use 3rd party apps, many more watch faces available and other stuff but are not a requirement for me, especially at the expense of battery life. The watch does have a heart rate monitor, which I compared to the heart rate monitor I use when cycling and the numbers where within 1-2 beats per minute of each other. If you want a smart watch that has all of the bells and whistles, than you probably will be disappointed in this watch, but if you want a physically appealing watch that does what I consider basic stuff well, then this a watch you should consider this watch. In closing, I determine my requirements for a product, then seek out products that advertise that they meet those requirements. I do not mark a product down because it does not possess a feature or function that was not part of the product description.Oh one other thing, I have a Samsung Note 8, in addition to the Huawei Health app, I needed to download and install Huawei Mobile Services on my phone in order for the watch to phone bluetooth connection to work, this information was not included in the instructions that came with, I did a google search after spending a hour attempting to get the connection to work.
