I got this for my husband and he loves it. It keeps his head all nice and warm and it last for a while. And he has not once complained about this hat. He also loves that he can change the level of heat he can use. It is 100% worth the money and we will buy more for are friends and family.

I’ve ordered multiple packages of these: three heating zones, simple recharge of about 2-3H to last an entire day. If using a combination of med to high, it’ll last a day. On high, approximately 5-8H during a NYC snow storm (I used one last Christmas back home in NYC). I lost my Hammacher Schlemmer hat & had a Savior hat from Amazon as backup. Worked just as well. On medium, it should last up to 8-10H (6-8H constantly). On low, still keeps my head toasty, pretty much all day. RECOMMEND: Buy a few (I did).

I guess the only drawbacks with this hat are the bright red, large logo and the very visible glowing leds – nothing like bringing attention. A permanent marker pen dulls the glow. But that said, it does work like a charm, so much so i have ordered the same brand in gloves and socks. I live in -30 weather sometimes and this hat defeats the burning forehead from that cold biting wind. I just hope it lasts – its a great buy – may seem expensive at first but it’s worth it when it works so well, also does anyone know where to get replacement batteries? I dont see them on Amazon.

I wish I hadn’t bought this item. I wouldn’t have known if I had not bought it in the first place. It doesn’t feel near as warm as I expected. I guess that heat still has to travel through the material and reach the head and perhaps a lot of the heat gets lost. It does heat some but I feel essentially nothing on low and medium settings. It starts to feel a little bit warm on the high setting after it’s been on for 20-30 minutes but certainly not right away. On high heat, it lasted me maybe 2.5-3 hours before shutting off for battery discharged. It’s not a bad hat, but it didn’t really heat nearly as well as I had hoped for those 20-degree mornings out hunting.

I love this hat! If you need extra batteries for this hat, Savior also sells them and should consider putting a link on the item page. (Currently $43.99) Savior battery for gloves

States it comes with 2 batteries but mine only came with one. On high it only takes about 2 minutes to feel the heat. The heating element is n the cuff. Doubt this would fit well on a larger head. In women’s I wear a medium hat. This is quite snug to my head, so much so I fear the stitching will fail.

My wife bought this for me last Christmas and at first I thought it was silly. However, after a few extremely cold winter nights blowing snow, riding the atv and walking the dogs I realized how much I love it. It is a little embarrassing to have to explain why there is a little red light on the front, but is a good conversation peice. That reminds me I have to go charge my hat.
