A top-mounted, high-sensitivity GPS/GLONASS receiver, TT 15 dog device uses 18 levels of continuous and momentary stimulation, plus audible tone and vibration activated from Alpha 100. Compatible with Astro 430 and 320 for tracking only.
Rugged and water-resistant to 10 meters, the tracking and training dog device with collar is tough enough to run wherever your dog runs, up to 9 miles away. The stimulation features let you train each dog separately traditional stimulation allows you to make quick changes (low, medium or high) within a predetermined stimulation level (1-6), whereas linear stimulation allows progressively more stimulation from levels 1 to 18. You can remotely operate the LED beacon lights, built in to the dog device, to help locate your dog in low-light conditions.

I have 16 acres and we used this to train our dogs to stay on our property. Overall it was cheaper and quicker than installing an underground fence. This unit does not beep, vibrate, or deliver a shock to the dogs automatically. The trainer must deliver all correction types. It would be nice if there was an update to beep and vibrate the dogs when they approach the set boundary.

I tried for over an hour to find out if everything needed was included in this package. I finally decided to go ahead and order it although it was unclear. When it arrived there was a paper on top of the collar letting me know that I needed one of the two Garmin products listed on the paper to use with the collar. So it actually costs several hundred dollars more to use this. I am returning this product.

We used the collar one single time a realized one of points had fallen out and was gone. I had to buy a kit to replace it before we could use it again !! Very poorly put together.

This is my 3rd Garmin Alpha, best on the market IMO. The only problem I have had is that one came off of my dog’s neck in the woods and I was unable to track it to find it due to loss of satellite earlier that day without me knowing. Garmin is excellent with their support dept. and has replaced both a faulty handheld as well as a collar that had lost signal. I will continue to use this product with all of my dogs. You can use multiple collars on a single handheld, so adding a collar or dog is easy.

I have a regular sized TT 15 and this mini one.The mini is much smaller and lighter but has less range and less battery. The collar strap seems more durable on the mini.At the end of a days use the regular sized version will have two battery bars left while the mini will only have one.The gps on the mini collar jumps around a lot more than the regular, only by 20 feet or so but it causes the “track” to be very noisy and blocks the other tracks on the screen.I would have purchased the regular sized collar had I know of these issues.– Update 9/14/2020The collar stopped beeping and my dog escaped. Tracking kept working so I found the dog but what’s most concerning is that the collar started to work normally after a reboot. I verified that it has the latest firmware installed but can’t return it because the window closed last month. Can’t find any help about this on the Garmin website.Can’t trust this collar anymore but the regular sized TT15 has been flawless.
