Appearance: Looks great and is lightweight. The band has a very large size range. If you like silicone bands its nice, very smooth and flexible. I got the color gray and it has already started picking up color staining from my jeans. I would think the other light band colors would do the same so if this is a problem for you go with a dark color. I personally don’t care because I’m getting a chainlink band.Screen: The screen is great!! Easy to see in the sun light even when on the dim setting. This was something I hated about my Fitbit Charge3, the screen was invisible in the sun. It has crisp and clear images, text is very easy to read. Responsive to touch and actuate to where you touch.Battery life: Fantastic! I use the dim setting and it lasts about 10 days. Also charges pretty quickly.Fitness tracking: Okay, this is the biggest problem for me personally. Most of my outdoor exercise is walking/jogging while pushing my toddler in the stroller. It will not track steps or distance when I am holding the handle bar. If you are doing regular running, hiking, ect it works fine; but I do wonder how it would do tracking cycling as your hands are put in a similar position holding the handle bars. A positive that I got even with it struggling to track my movment, it still monitors heart rate and shows what workout zone you are it for calories/fat burning and I do like that.HR/step/sleep tracking: day to day use works perfectly fine and I found it as accurate at my old Fitbit Charge3. The sleep tracking is a little off and hard to understand on the app, so be warned if that matters to you.App: Easy to set up, very basic, and does its job. No issues with it but not overly impressed. Its fine.Other features: My 2 favorite things are the weekly totals screen and find my phone. Love how easy to access the weekly total screen is, and the find my phone ability it great. It uses the volume for your phones media setting not the ringtone, so even if your phone is on vibrate it will still make noise if the media volume is on. Very handy! More watch faces would be nice, it lacks a good analog face and the digital faces do not track seconds; however there are some very pretty ones. Relax feature for breathing is basic and fine.Overall: Worth the money and do recommend it as a good alternative to the big name brands. Other than the problem with tracking my walks/jogs while pushing the stroller I’m very pleased (and again if you’re doing other activities it does track those much better). I knew there would be flaws going in because it is cheaper, but for me the few flaws it has are worth dealing with for the price. Deffenitly intend to keep using till it dies!

I had the Garmin Forerunner 35 for years before this watch, but decided to try this one since it’s so affordable. After wearing this for several months, here’s my comparison between the two:Pros:-cheap-has a “workout” setting-has all the stuff I wanted (heart rate, specific activity trackers, timer, alarm, step counter, etc.)-sleek look-smaller than the forerunner (less chunky)Cons:-there’s no option to always have the time displayed like the forerunner. Sometimes the “lift wrist screen” doesn’t work and then you have to push the button to see the time and it almost always takes 2 pushes to actually work. So you can never just glance down and see the time.- if you read a text on your phone, it doesn’t clear it off your watch and vise versa- when you receive a notification, it will remain on the home screen of your watch until you clear it. I wish after 10 seconds or so that it would go back to the clock- you can’t track any activity/sport if your watch battery is below 20% which is very annoying to me, that’s definitely enough battery to track…- there’s only certain apps that the watch will allow you to receive notifications from. IMO you should be able to receive notifications from any app on your phone you want. (Specifically I’d want to get notifications from Ring)

I wanted a fitness tracker/watch, but refuse to pay lots for it. This watch does exactly what I want, as well as link up to my Android phone to let me see what messages are coming in. I’ve had it in the shower, hot tub, and pool and it holds up to water just fine! The accuracy of the sleep tracker on the app is not fabulous, but it’s accurate enough for my purposes. I recommend this watch for those who are cost conscious!

I have had this “Smart” watch for almost a year now, so I have had quite a bit of use with it. I originally purchased this watch to track my daily steps for one of the wellness programs that my company requires us to do each year for insurance reasons. This watch was fairly cheap and had a step counter built in, so I decided to buy it.What it does well.It is definitely water proof, I have soaked it with water countless times while washing my hands. I also took it on a float trip this past summer so I could keep track of the time, I had it submerged in the river multiple times for extended periods of time and it had no issues.Battery life is great, I can get almost 2 weeks of use out of it (just using it as a step counter and watch) before needing to charge. It also charges very quickly, when it’s around 20% it will fully charge to 100% in about an hourThe heart rate monitor seems to work well, although I don’t use it that often, and I can’t really speak to it’s accuracy.Build quality. I work maintenance in a factory, and I have been wearing this watch at work for a little over a year now and it has held up quite well to daily abuse and getting smacked around while I’m working, I’m honestly a little surprised that I haven’t broken the screen or broken one of the strap mounts. The bad.First off, the app isn’t great, whenever you want to sync the watch with the app you have to have your Bluetooth and location on. It’s quite annoying that it needs to know your location just to sync the watch. The app also stays running in the background the whole time, even while you’re not using it, so I have to force stop it. I may just be nit picking, but I had a Sony smart watch back in highschool and I only had to turn the Bluetooth on when I wanted to connect it to my phone, I also didn’t have to use a cheap looking app to sync the watch with. The app also does not allow you to download additional watch faces, so you are stuck with the 4 pre-loaded faces that come on the watch. This watch also looses time, I normally only sync the watch to the app once a week or once every two weeks, unfortunately if the watch is not synced daily it will start too loose time, I have gone 2 weeks without syncing to the app and it has been almost 3 minutes slow. It’s not the biggest issue in the world but it is quite annoying to deal with.Overall the watch isn’t bad for the price, I can definitely say that if you are needing a cheap watch to keep time with, and one that will hold up too abuse very well, then it’s worth it.But I will also say that you can get an older higher end smart watch for about $20 more that has a lot more function and will be more worth your money.Edit:I am updating my review to 3 stars. Although the build quality has definitely surpassed my expectations, the watch UI definitely leaves you wanting more. The app also recently updated, and although it does look quite a bit nicer on the surface, it is basically the same as the old app, and you still have to have your phones location and Bluetooth on to sync with the watch. The updated app also runs in the background until you force stop it.If I were to buy another “smart” watch, I can honestly say I would probably not pick this watch, and would go with a name brand watch that has more useful options and a friendlier UI.

Something in the description got me hopeful that this watch may be of European manufacture, but it’s actually made in China. I don’t share my location with my watch for that reason. My data gets dropped sometimes when I try to sync to the app. I sync daily now so I only lose a day when the sync loses my data. The app leaves a lot to be desired. It’s difficult to find data, and the presentation graphics are nice, there’s not much there unless you turn on an exercise app.It does give pretty good sleep information, hours/minutes in light sleep, deep sleep and awake for over-night sleep. Naps before bedtiime or mid-day are not recorded. It is waterproof for surface swilmming. No option to record swimming, I record as “run” just to have the timer on for laps and to ensure I’m pushing hard enough to stay aerobic for my allotted swim time.Overall, seems to be very sturdy. I’m tough on watches, so I don’t want to spend a bunch of money for something I’ll break in a year. This price fits the bill and I’ll live with the warts.I recharge weekly and there’s usually more than 30% battery left when I snap thd magnetic charging adapter to the back of the watch.

Somewhat difficult to set the clock

My son needed a step tracker and other things to monitor for his health and school. This hot all the marks and works well. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money for the expensive brands for him to lose it. I would recommend a screen protector since it does scratch easily, but overall works great.

I have two items that I am not happy with. (1) I keep getting the achievement awards which I do not want, they are disruptive, (2) the watch seems to disconnect from the email/text alert feature quite often, so when I notice that emails/texts are not alerting on the watch, I have to go in and reestablish various things to get it back.

  10. Andrea

This worked ok, but had to be manually synced with the app, and ultimately didn’t fit my needs well enough. I can see it being a GREAT fot for someone else.
