I modified mine, the nosehole was not wide enough and i cut it further, and it works fine. I wear glasses and some of the exhaled hot air from my nose goes up and fogs my glasses and this is sort of an issue that I wish didn’t exist.I wear a lot of gear on my face and the area that runs across the top is trimmed, and it contacts the upper bridge of my nose and does apply a little bit of pressure (the pressure is aided by my large protective/proscription eye wear and other gear) and it gets a bit uncomfortable/painful for a full days work.Thankfully the mask itself does very well with the moisture that i breath out. The mask does not get cold on my skin in sub zero degrees Fahrenheit, though note that if you wear this over a balaclava or any type of cloth, even if that cloth is down at your chin and not in proximity of your nose or mouth, the cloth will collect moisture, resulting in a cold face upon removing the mask.Wearing this item under everything, or over everything, both have advantages and disadvantages, but overall I will continue to use this product unless I stumble across something that can do what it does and better.

Too small – I fit every other ‘fits most’ items. But this is too small. Guess what – they will sell you an extender! Cool – or scam. Also, the first time I wore it, with a rubber neck gator around it, my goggles still fogged up. I’ll let you decide. I would look for another mask. Also, the first time I wore it, with a rubber neck gator around it, my goggles still fogged up. Not a happy camper…

It’s a bit big for my face and it only solves the problem I was having if I breath in a specific way. To clarify, my nose starts to run if I’m out in the cold for too long, and up until now I’ve just been covering my face with a scarf to protect my nose and hopefully stop it from running. The problem with using a scarf is that it would cause my breath to blow upwards and fog up my glasses. (I literally cannot see without my glasses, my eyes are THAT bad.) I thought the mask would prevent this, but it only does if I breath through “fish lips” so my breath goes out the holes in the front instead of back up into my glasses the same as the scarf situation.

I purchased this item for use when riding a bike in cold weather. Temps below the mid 30s seem to make my face feel a bit wind burned after a long ride. The item shipped quickly and was packaged sufficiently. The mask is well made, no quality concerns there, but it is a bit too small for me to properly wear. I had to make it quite tight to get even the slightest amount of Velcro to adhere. The Velcro held nicely, having a strong grip. As long as I helod my head upright and straight, it was not too bad. Once on the bike, I had to tilt my head back to see the road and that’s where it’s smaller size affects it’s use. The Velcro held fine, but the mask tightened even more than before, causing it to push my nose in. This restricted my breathing to the point that it was just not comfortable. Additionally, it tends to fog my glasses. The mask is of good quality and the Velcro holds tight. It provides good protection from the wind and cold. For normal use I’m sure it would be fine but for riding a bicycle, you may want to find something else. Maybe I just have a big head, maybe it’s made a bit smaller than the average US consumer. Overall it’s a good mask that just didn’t work for what I intended to use it for.

I ordered this product to protect me for the Coronavirus, however it doesn’t work for that at all. I’ll need to send them back.Probably very good for keeping for face warm on a cold day, with is probably what they are for.

I bought this mask knowing I would probably have to add my own filter, such as a piece of cloth or a piece of coffee filter. This turned out to be correct: the mask does not provide any filtering at all. There is a wide open hole for your nose and an array of smaller holes for your mouth. But the biggest deficiency is that it is too small. Unless you have a tiny head, it won’t fit you. Small print on the packaging says the manufacturer also sells extension pieces. They cost an additional $7.97!

If you are buying this mask as protection against the virus, forget about it. This mask is used for protection against the cold, the mask is porous with a good size gap at the nose. There are also vent holes on the mask, thus for protection against any viruses your sleeve would be a better choice. Also as side note, the mask runs small, so make sure you order one big enough to be able to use on the cold.
