Yes, when communication is lost between your device and your Tile Slim 2020 attached to your wallet (either by closing the app or by exceeding the Bluetooth range, 200 ft on the Tile Slim (2020), your app will immediately record on the map inside the app the last time and place your Tile and mobile device were connected to each other. It’s the last place your Tile was seen by the app! No restrictions on where you might be to see the last location on the map. We've made several improvements to our Tile Slim, like remaining as slim as possible Roughly the size of 2 credit cards, Slim can slip easily into wallets and passports cases or without increasing bulkiness. We've also increased the Bluetooth range to 200 feet! Finally, the battery life has been improved to last up to 3 years with no additional upkeep. Tile works on Bluetooth technology. If your towel is within 10 m of your device it will show you. If you are 200 miles away, no, but any tile premium user that passes within 10 m of your device will update the location.

Hello there, Thanks for asking and yes! You can definitely place a Tile Slim (2020) on your mobile device's phone case. But there really isn't a need to. You actually don't need to attach a Tile to your phone at all! One of Tile's core finding features is the ability to ring your phone using any Tile that is connected. Simply double-click the button on your Tile! Please be advised that this requires the app to be open and running within Bluetooth range, so make sure to leave the app running in the background of your phone. If you do find that you need to attach a Tile to your phone or tablet device, you can do so using our custom adhesives!
