UPDATE: I’ve now owned the pavlok 3 for 7 months. It still works, still wakes me up, and still functions as well as the first day. The battery life has dropped a tad, but nothing significant. For reference: I ONLY use this watch at night (read below), it comes off in the morning. On a full charge I’ll get about a week out of it. I’ve lost 50 pounds because I’m so much more active and now the band barely fits me. I did go through 2 weeks where it was dying constantly and reading the wrong battery percentage but then pavlok updated the firmware and it fixed the problem. It has a smart alarm where it will continue to go off every few minutes if it senses that you’re still lying in bed, it has an escalating alarm where it will get stronger over time AND a light sleep setting so if you’re not in deep sleep when it goes off or can zap you weaker at first. I do wish to God they had a sleeker, slimmer, more feminine version, and that I could actually tell time with it (the watch face doesn’t light up at all, it’s just there to host the plates that shock you). But at the end of the day, I’m not going to complain about something that helped me literally save my own life. If you’re considering it, buy it. For real. I don’t even write reviews. THIS watch though? Is worth every word.I have narcolepsy. I sleep like the DEAD. Normally I have to set 20+ alarms with all different sounds, that I have to change up weekly in order to wake up to them. And I still regularly sleep through them! One thing ALL my exes hate me for? MY ALARMS. I’m not joking, it’s obnoxious.Few months back I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and I started a new medication for the narcolepsy where I have to take it right before bed, then wake up 4 hours later to take it again, and then get up in the morning. So not only did I have to wake up in the morning, but in the middle of the night. After I missed that second dose 3 times, I bought this watch. I could NOT afford to be unmedicated (read: I have a 5 year old and a propensity for totaling cars.)I haven’t missed it since. I set the beep and vibration to 100% and they still don’t wake my partner, and the zap to 80%, which is pretty strong but it gets me up. BECAUSE OF THIS WATCH, and taking the medication regularly I now don’t fall asleep during the day at all anymore!!! I haven’t been able to say that for 18 years. And the beauty of it is my brain knows the zap is coming so unless I’m trying to take the second dose 2½ hours later because I don’t have enough time to sleep to wait the longer option (4 hours) I’m typically up and have turned it off before it shocks me. I have to take that second dose 6 hours before I have to drive so there’s some math involved. This watch made it possible for me to take the dosing within the therapeutic window where I need to. If I have to take it 2½ hours later the medication is still pretty active when I wake up so it’s a lot harder to wake up, but I’ll wake up to the zap and successfully take that second dose that ensures I feel great the next day.My entire life has changed in two months. It’s insane. Obviously, the watch isn’t responsible for fixing the symptoms of my narcolepsy, but i was on the verge of being taken off this medication because i couldn’t wake up. Without pavlok, i would’ve verb taken off, and my life would’ve continued in a downward spiral. But it gave me the ability to do the treatment so consistently that instead I now feel better at 32 than I EVER have.I wish I found this watch years ago. I would’ve lost less jobs, slept through less alarms, not been judged as being lazy or having bad time management by so many people. None of this was possible without waking up, and that’s what this watch did. Thank you pavlok.

So I really wanted to like this, which is why I spent £179.93 on this piece of plastic with a tiny battery and shock pen toy inside. I sleep extremely deeply so I hoped this would do the job it seems like it would probably manage it if it managed to stay together long enough to last a night. The plastic construction makes sense as it uses electric shocks to train for habits and waking you up so a metal housing would cause conductivity issues. However, this doesn’t excuse the shoddy construction that it has; mainly down the 4 plastic standoffs that hold on the plastic cover on the front. After wearing for about an hour or two I was readjusting the watch and the front just popped off. The product itself does what it says on the box but the build quality is horrific. Get better manufacturers, especially if you expect me to pay you over £170 for your product. Two stars since the shock parts works well and the battery life is decent. Overall, don’t buy unless you love broken plastic and burning your money. Thanks PAVLOK!

I am a heavy sleeper and this method of alarm wakes me up.Also a member of my family has partial hearing loss and they use it to wake them. I think it’s a great invention for the partial hearing community. It is also an attractive device. My son has used it as practical jokes and conversation starters as well!

If you have sleeping problems don’t go to the gym and gotta have a way to physically self discipline yourself for not going. this is the best device for you. At 150$ I think pavlok satisfies that Niché. Through multiple places locations,and it is water resistant. I’ve had this device for 6 months and it woke me up instantly each day. For those that really sleep deeply through alarms I recommend to turn it 50% Snap and higher.But, it Does at the price leave some Quality up to interpretation. The batteries die in about 2 Days, and it takes a real long while to charge. But once it’s up and on it’s a great “silentish”alarm for Early mornings when you want to keep the folks around you rested.Overall great For Discipline on daily structure it wakes me up all the time At 4am!I only Rate this 4 Stars Because I’ve recently come into a glaring issue..I’ve made multiple purchases of Pavlok official products like their Mesh Watch band in which I don’t recommend for 30 dollars, they wear down easily with heavy use but at least look nice in the business settings.(Nov 2022) ⭐⭐⭐⭐But the Wear and tear ended up costing my band when I only had it for 2 months so I had to hop and swap between multiple different watch bands, I’m assuming this should be normal for watches to go home to home…But over Time your Clasps Holders get weaker and on one of my Most recent Swaps my Watch Band Clasps snapped off. And exposed the wiring, this Kinda clears the watch useless due to not being able to wear or utilize it in environments as it can expose the hardwear.. I’d personally recommend on the next few builds to utilize thick 22mm metallic clasp holders like lots of smart watches come with these days to avoid snapping off.this needs to reach @pavlok team, I love your product, but this is a big oversight, hoping we can work something out to fix my personal situation..Other than that, great watch Can’t wait for PAVLOK 4-JayKhrisDee??

Really easy to use, never worried about missing the alarm now. Watch doesn’t tell the time so when wearing it, it’s a bit useless to look at. But can deliver zaps manually or set up to deliver zaps. I used to worry about not waking up on time for things when napping, now i know I will always wake. Great product!

This watch worked great as an alarm clock, for the FIRST 2 DAYS!!! This watch is easy to remove, it wakes you up just enough to realize that you want to take it off and go back to bed. You have to have very strong will power for this thing to be effective. Works well as a step counter but you could buy a 20 dollar Fitbit for the same purpose. Not to mention that the small pads used to shock are a bit uncomfortable to wear around the clock. This may work well for habit breaking but there aren’t really any habits I had or need to break, i just needed to wake up. So I’m stuck in a dilemma, this product works to wake me up occasionally and all its functions are great, but they don’t really work for me, I feel bad returning the item since it does exactly what it suppose too. So for now I guess ill continue to wake up randomly and count my steps until I have justified the amount of money I spent on the product. If you made it this far into the review, HAVE A GREAT DAY, DO SOMETING NICE FOR SOMEONE AND YOURSELF. =)

I really liked this device although it did not help me quit vaping. I misread the description and thought the device can pick up on movements you don’t wanna do and then program it into shocking you. It turns out that you need to physically press the device and then it will shock you. If you have enough will power to shock yourself you probably have enough will power to just not do what you were going to do. I honestly would have kept this device if it at least had a time setting where you can use the device as a smart watch as well. Nothing crazy just a digital time display would be nice. I would’ve gladly swapped it out for my Apple Watch since the battery life is great.

Absolutely loved the watch! Fitbit pay works perfectly for public transportation and most merchant stores. Tracks sleep and steps well too so far. No offline music support was not an issue for me as I don’t listen to music usually. Have not tried answering phone calls. Also realised no notifications on my watch for messages but will try to set it again. Overall, very worth it as I got Versa 4 at same price as Versa 3.
