Watch display glass is too fragile, it got cracked very easily. ( Less than 60 days of usage)Do not recommend while heavy lifting or CrossFit activities.24may 2020————–I just received the device today, watch is little heavier (bcaz of ss) and looks premium.Straps are too soft and good for daily use.But the only crap is the Huawei health app! Latest version will not allow you to do many of the stuffs. It gets crashes and says need the latest version of Huawei mobile service app and won’t let the app load. And for now i have downloaded older version 10.0.3.*** which does not have many of the new features!Update:To fix the issue ‘Please install Huawei Mobile Service version 4 or higher”After installing huawei mobile service, go to settings – account and settings – add account – select Huawei ID – register/sign up that will fix the issue! After a month usage:A good looking watch on hand! Definitely can feel a Premium build.Battery lasts for 7-8 days on regular use with daily logging work out statsSleep tracking is good pretty accurateSpo2 supports with new update that’s really a plus at this process rangecan only reject the call using this watch, prefer to add option to accept when connected with Bluetooth. No double tap to wake option that’s a downside as sometime watch won’t wake up while lifted.Music control, stress monitor, 100+ watch faces are again a plusGo for it… better then Fitbit! Trust me I was Fitbit user for almost 3+ years!Cheers!

I wanted to like this watch. It’s slick, lightweight, and has a fantastic screen. BUT.. Due to trade war with China and sanctions against Huawei the companion app Huawei Health is severely crippled. You are stuck with few watch faces that came with the watch. There is no way to upload more unless you resort to installing questionable software on your phone, and only if you have Android. The app supports paltry THREE exercises, that’s it. It really is a darn shame that politics got in the way of an otherwise great product, but as it stands this smart watch is all but useless if you’re in US.

Great smart watch from Huawei! I absolutely love it. It’s definitely the most comfortable smart watch I have owned by far! Lava red color looks good on me! The watch is perfect for people who like exercising! It provides so many fitness options and the data are available in the Huawei Health App! The battery life is also very impressive. A 2 hour charge can last for 2 weeks! Every morning, I’ll be able to see how long I slept and the quality of my sleep, which are very helpful! Overall, it has great design and features. Highly recommended!

Don’t be fooled by the company name. Huawei is leading electronics manufacturer from China and this latest smartwatch is definitely not to be missed. I use an android phone and this is easily one of the best smart watches for active people. The screen is beautiful and stunning with its AMOLED display and the 14 day battery life is outstanding. I like the fact that I dont have to charge my watch every day. I love how many workout modes there are. There’s always an activity for someone. Lastly, this is one of the few smart watches that can actually detect your HR as well as your oxygen saturation! I work in a hospital and I have tested it with a finger pulse oximeter and the readings are pretty accurate. It comes in four beautiful colors but I went with the black one. If your looking for a light weight smartwatch with superb battery life and many workout modes, this is it.

Pros:Great battery life , day 8 and at 32% right now and I’ve only had it on the charger once just to put it at 100/7 heart rate and stress trackerSpo2 sensor (all are pretty accurate from what I’ve tested and researched . Looks to be +/- 2 in the measurements)Very user friendly app(android)And nice detailed info thats easy to take inConsMay be a tad to big for ppl with skinny wristsOnly bluetooth connection (so downloading songs can take a min)No taking call on watch just have the option to decline callNo quick reply to messages can only view them (a con to some but not to me )No 3rd party appsNo nfc or payments with the watchIf you are a U.S purchaser (like me) then you will have limited watch faces to choose from (12) for some that’s a con but to me not so much

If your not looking to make calls or reply to messages on your watch the GT2e is a great smart-ish watch at a really good price. I was looking for fitness tracking, sleep tracking, weather, notifications and the like and the GT2e does well at those things. It looks sharp and the screen is very crisp and clear. I have a slightly larger than average wrist and the watch fits me very well. A few others have commented that the US version has a limited number of watch faces, and this is true. However, it is not difficult to gain access to the additional watch faces by installing the Huawei health app from the Huawei App Gallery. A Google search should give you the extra steps needed.

First thing, I want today that I been a smart watch user since 2012 with the Pebble Watch. And I have to say that the watch is a steal for the price, bang for the buck, the best value for your money. This watch in build quality is compared to an Apple Watch aluminum, better that the fossil gen 5 etc. Aluminum body, awesome silicone straps, plastic bottom, and a sharp punchy edge OLED screen.Remember, is a 120 dollars watch and I judge by that. There is no build in speaker, no microphone. But no deal for me, I don’t use my watch to phone calls. I don’t care about apps because we don’t use apps in our watches, the average human use the smart watch for fitness, time, notification. The notification interface is pretty crappy, and there is no way to reply text messages. There is 4gb of storage for music (Less than 3 after updates), and you can use Bluetooth headphones. The SPO2 and Heart rate monitors works…with no tattoos. So It didn’t for me, and that’s a deal breaker. With the Apple Watch there is no problem for heart rate reading with tattoos. As a fitness tracker gets the job done. The interface is laggy due to the Huawei Kirin A1 processor, that’s the trade off for the crazy up to 14 days of battery life. While the Apple Watch interface runs at 60 frames per second, buttery smooth, the GT2E runs around 20. But not that bad in trade for awesome battery. The Huawei health app is Ok, very simple and clean in IOS and Android. The always on display is good, I would love more customization or watch faces for Always On.I live in US, and I am able to download watch faces. I just create a Huawei account and I was able to put “China” as a region and that’s It. Problem solved. For 120 USD this watch is a no brainer.
