This heated softshell jacket from DEWBU is very comfortable, lightweight, and comes in over 10 colors. The jacket is powered by a 7.4V Battery and the heating function is activated by pushing a button on the jacket.

I’ll be the first to review this jacket. The fit is spot on on. Thicker than just a shell. Heat works well. Pockets are a little strange but they work just fine. Battery is small and compact and barley notice it. Overall I really like the jacket.Edit:Main zipper on the jacket is coming apart from the bottom up. This is a problem and now the jacket is worthless. Started having problems with zipper about a month ago. Difficult to unzip and to zip up. Now it just comes apart.

To give a sizing comparison: I’m 6’1″ and 193lbs – I ordered a large and fits perfect.Review: I gave this jacket its first real test this past weekend. I spent 6hrs at an outdoor Chicago beer festival. At its warmest it was a windy 36 degrees. I had long sleeve shirt on underneath with a t-shirt and the jacket on low power setting. The jacket was pleasantly comfortable. I was never chilled nor did i have to up the power setting. The jacket does a great job cutting the wind and throwing up the hood further helped to cut the wind.My only knock on the jacket is the odd pocket layouts. the normal side pockets are set high and not very deep. I do, however, like the clip ring in the pockets as I could clip my keys to them with no worry of them following out.

This heated jacked was ballsy to buy because it had no reviews but i took a chance on it. It fits as expected great for under my heavy work jacket. Pockets are strange but i really don’t mind it’s different. the battery is great the heat is exceptional and it really helped me for working outside all day in the cold it’s a must buy if you’re outside working all day. Great price too bc it does the same as all the other expensive heated jackets. Really great product for me im very happy with it.

Love the jacket but hate the battery life! I work Outdoors and expect the battery life to last as stated in the warranty paperwork I received with the jacket.I have my jacket on a medium setting and it only last 3 to 4 hours which is not what the paperwork says. I contacted the company and waiting to hear back to make sure if I have a defective battery or if I just need to send the whole jacket back.love the extra pockets…but I normally get my jackets in a 2x so I can wear a sweatshirt or something under there but this jacket runs a little bit small. I would recommend you to order one size up. But other than that I like the jacket!

This item did not come with a charger for the batteries in the jacket..update, they did send me a charger took about 3 weeks after the jacket was already delivered. Let them that, jacket works great, i washed it since and stil works fine.

My mom is ALWAYS cold regardless of the weather and it was important for me to find her a nice coat for the winter. However I did not want to go big and bulky because she has to move around because she has an oxygen tank. I needed something warm but lightweight. THIS IS IT PEOPLE! It is weather proof and provided 3 levels of heat! I assumed she would use it on high but she was pleasantly warm with it on medium! We went to an amusement park for Christmas and she had it on medium the whole time (about 6 hrs) and was truly warm without being a marshmallow! She (and I) cannot recommend this coat enough!

The person I got the coat for says he loves it. I thought it would be great for when he goes hunting (hate it!) But he said he wears it when he goes to the city at night, doing stuff outside his home, and he said it’s gonna be great when he has to shovel snow. So yes, he loves it! Unless hes lying because he doesn’t want to make me feel bad lol! He normally wears a 1xl, he’s 6’2, 230 but a muscular 230 and I had read another comment suggesting to go up a size so I got a 2xl Good thing I did. He did say It’s just the tiniest bit snug around shoulders but he’ll work it in. So maybe a 3xl wouldve been even better or too big? Maybe someone who’s bought one can answer this?

I am confused. The information for what I ordered is for a woman. My package says woman. Though it looks like where I am writing this review is under the mens jacket info. Anyhow. I listened to the reviews that said buy larger. DON’T!! It is huge on me. I can’t wear it at all. I’m so disappointed and mad…. I hate to return by mail! I ordered 2 sizes larger. I should have ordered my exact size or maybe smaller.. I’ll try and see if anyone at my job wants to buy it from me before I return it. The jacket it self is well made. Nice weight and thickness. Charger an battery seem well done. I got it super quick in the mail. I’m happy with the speed of delivery price and jacket itself. I’m just regretting listening to some of the reviews. Received in 4 days

UPDATE 11/22/19: Customer service reached out and said they will replace the defective jacket I recieved. I am updating from 1 star to 4. Once the replacement is received, I will update again.2018: Down-grading to 1 star. The main zipper broke after wearing the jacket a handful of times.The battery takes several hours to charge and lasts 2-3 hours between high/medium heat. The jacket itself does not create enough heat to “feel” the extra warmth unless there is pressure against the heating coils (eg, leaning back against a chair/driving or pressing your hands against the coils in the front). Several pockets but none of them big enough to be useful. Hand pockets in the front are high (placed to be against the coils) but these pockets are not heated. I still have to put hand warmers in the pockets to create any sort of warmth. This review is based on my experience while being in temperatures around 40* F.

Ordered this jacket in February it’s now November and I still love this jacket and get tons of compliments. I would buy this jacket again – love the army green color. Customer service was amazing I actually lost the battery And requested to buy a new one. They responded to my email within 2 hours and they offered to send me a new one for free that’s it’s still under warranty. Not often do you get quality and customer service like that. Win win. .Thinking of ordering another one in a different color I like it so much!

Ok, first and foremost, I and my wife are veryhappy with these jackets. Heads up, the Men’s Jackets have pockets on each shoulder, and one on the left sleeve cuff. Super awesome. However the ladies jackets lack these pockets. One thing we didn’t realize existed on these jackets are the patch spots where you can velcro patches onto both shoulders. I’m very much looking forward to having fun personalizing my jacket thanks to this feature. Front pockets are high up, but I like the feature frankly. It would make fitting a super large smartphone in your front pockets no problem, or even a large billfold wallet, or small purse. Jacket warms up at the speed of now. Literally within 30 seconds I could feel it, and it’s great for our 40 year old backs, which was half the reason why I bought them. I’m going to buy more batteries so we have extras in the cold Michigan winters, so one can always be on the charger.Sizing! Ok, this is the hard part, and I’m a screen printer with a lot of experience in sizing, and the size charts for these jackets can really be difficult. Ladies, you need to size up if you have a large chest. My wife is 5’3″, with a 40DD bra size, and had to get the Ladies XL. I am 5’7″ and 275 lbs, and I needed to order the Mens 3XL. It’s important to note that I ordered the Men’s 3XL which is the equivalent to a Men’s 2XL in the US. My friend who is 5’5″ with a very large bra size (bigger than my wife’s) tried on my Men’s 3XL coat, and it fit her perfectly. So for larger sizes, you do very much need to size up. I hope this helps anyone who needs it! These are great coats especially for the price.
