I really wanted to like this watch, Golf Buddy has had some good and not so good reviews so I took a chance as the features on the new W10 looked great on paper. This watch did not work from the start, when I tried to pair it via bluetooth to my phone, the blue tooth never would pair, tired it with two other phones with no luck. Then tried to connect via direct usb to my Mac Book, and when it made it to the load page, the error popped up ” invalid serial number” and would not go any further. I sent several emails to Golf Buddy customer support and am still waiting on the reply , yes , no luck. Tried the phone number given and never spoke to a person, but left several detailed messages with a return number and no response. I have never posted a negative review until today, and have nothing to gain by bashing this watch, but this one was junk and that is the bottom line, I was truly wanting this to work, and possibly would have tried another, if their customer service would have had any form of contact with me. So it was returned to the vendor , thankfully Amazon has a great return policy or I may have been stuck with a glorified paper weight . Hopefully Golf Buddy will get the kinks worked out. Buyers do your homework and see if the W10 has gotten better over time. On a side note, I purchased the Garmen Approach S60, a little more money that the W10, but this one works !!

Watch worked ok initially, but touchscreen eventually failed and became unresponsive after 3-4 uses.Touchscreen is ok, often sticky as is the software which crashed regularly during round.Color screen and course info are best features. Data seemed accurate.Golfcast didn’t work well. Often lagged or was slow.Like all GPS golfwatches strap and case are light, but felt cheap.I returned this product, but for less than $300 it has potential to be a very good product if software and durability are addressed.Lastly, the manufacturer’s product warrant holds no water. I reached out to Golfzon, the manufacturer, refused to honor the claim despite the valid warranty coverage. Don’t expect them to address product issues, which could occur frequently based on my experience.

Display is great, easy to read in bright sun. Moving the pin placement is very cool and the list of distances to hazards is very nice and quick to use. I started using it to capture scores too. All my local courses were already loaded into the watch and was able to download the Cabo courses quickly and for free on my last golf trip. Battery lasted 36 holes with no problem. Love that it’s a pedometer, so was easy to justify the purchase with my wife!

Love this watch! I was very disappointed with the battery time of the cheap watches I used in the past. They don’t last the whole 18 hole round with a full charge. This one can go at least 2 rounds on a full charge.

easy to use…!however, the apps for mobile phone is very lousy, especially when updating new golf course data… please improve the apps

The watch works pretty great. Seems to be accurate for the most part. Easy to read and it generally does what it’s supposed to. Some of the functionality is more difficult. It allows you to track how many putts you’ve done through the round but I haven’t found where it gives you that total. The touch screen isn’t super accurate so sometimes it’s difficult to change to a different hole if the watch gets confused or if you have to go back to change your score. The worst part by far is the charging. It’s a whole separate magnetic attachment that goes onto the watch, it falls off very easily- it also has these two metal magnets on it that have already fallen out on mine and it no longer charges. Have to try to find a replacement. Overall it’s a nice looking watch and it does great for distance.. but for the money- I wouldn’t buy it again.

Used for a few rounds on different courses. Accuracy was good no issues, battery was excellant. Wore it daily liked the look of watch and watch faces. I returned it because other than distance to green everything was too confusing to figure out. Touch screen very unresponsive when trying to move between info screens, probably look like a maniac swiping to trying to get to the screen I was looking for. Also I never got the Green’s undulation to tell me anything other than I was on a perfectly flat green or it just wasn’t working, try it on multiple courses (which were on list) with no luck. I wanted it to be more useful than using my smart watch with golf app, it was not.

Have used for two rounds of golf. Touch screen not very responsive takes too much time to switch from yardages to other screen. Pedometer is not even close to accurate counts steps every time your are moves. Got over 200 steps in my sleep last night. Ok for a golf gps watch but if you really are into off course activities I do not recommend this watch. Played a third round with watch today rode in a golf cart and still got over 10,000 steps Magic!
