The watch case is very large, much larger than other smartwatches. The case size is a lot bigger than the standard gen 5. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the watch completely engulfs it.The bracelet is very cheap feeling. The appearance is also very cheap looking. I guess I expected a little better…I spent more than an hour trying to resize the band before finally giving up. Even with some good watchmaking tools it was nearly impossible to remove several of the pins.

My first smartwatch and I’m very pleased with it. Looks nice and high quality. Easy to use and it has great audio. Comfortable and charges quickly. I’m happy with that feature because sometimes I like to use Google maps and other apps that require me to keep the screen on long that rapidly drains the battery. When I’m not over using the watch the battery life is good. I researched a lot of smartwatches and glad I chose this one to pair with my OnePlus 7 Pro phone. I bought a screen protector for the watch face so I’m all set. Highly recommend!

is anyone else have this huge battery drain by wear idle the watch literally just sitting and battery dies in 8 hours, and I have same exact watch gen 5 except Carlyle same insides and everything and that watch still has 60% battery when this one rans out.. it’s crazy I applied for replacement, will update if it was just faulty watch..Update : replacement works good, battery is good, it was a faulty watch. so 5 stars for a truly beautiful watch

My first smartwatch was the Asus Zenwatch 2 Rose Gold special edition, so I like traditional metal band/case watches. The Garrett looks incredible nice big face resolution is 400ppi so it’s very high res.The Garrett is light for its size. It runs Wear OS beautifully! That 1Gb of ram makes a huge difference. The buttons on the side are programmable, the middle one rotates and allows you to scroll on various screens.Saying “Ok Google” wakes the watch and allows you to use commands such as “Text Wife get tacos for dinner” and it will do it!It’s waterproof in the shower several times with no problem washed with soap. The GpS, BT, wifi etc all work perfectly. The battery life is what’s expected and honestly more than I expected. People that act like 24hrs is not enough have never ever had smartwatches that had any functions whatsoever. Sorry end rant.Overall I’m angry I didn’t catch it on sale. Happy I bought it anyway! Also you can download a sleep app from the play store on your watch and it will track your sleep perfectly annnnddd will monitor your heartbeat while asleep. Not sure why folks always say _____ watch doesn’t have a sleep monitor, it’s an app folks just… download it lol.5/5 Fossil Bravo.

I bought this to replace Gen4 from Fossil. I really like it, it works fast. The view is beautiful. Large bracelet – fits on your wrist up to 24cm. The color is darker than the photo advertising. The real color is dark anthracite, but not black. The case size is larger than Gen4, but the size of the display itself is smaller. But I really liked the watch. I advise for a purchase.

I’m gonna start out with the things I disliked first just so I can save the good stuff for last. It didn’t fit right even after taking out links and making other adjustments, but thats on my awkward shaped wrist. The crown was too easy to push with your wrist and I find myself activating google assistant without realizing it. It google assistant also had a ton of connectivity issues and couldn’t figure out why. It crashed on me when I had assistant activated and took it off the charger so I had to restart it after trying to get it to work.Things I like about us that it’s stylish and strong. It fits comfortably when it does fit (I tried it on my dad cause of my small wrists). Call quality is great on both ends! I was surprised on that one. It’s nice having google assistant on your wrist too, I used her with my smart devices (as seen in video). Lots of options with the 2 adjustable buttons.I ended up returning it but it was fun while it lasted. Just wasn’t for me personally. I’d recommend it to a friend though.

It’s a decent size watch with features that pair with my android phone. You can choose multiple watch faces, and it’s quite stylish. Only issue is the battery does not last more than a couple of days before it must be recharged. It does recharge quickly tho!!

I really like the look and feel of this watch, but I’m so disappointed with the functionality. I spent several hours trying to get it set up and at this point I’ll be returning it. The phone connects to my phone OK… Both recognize each other that they are connected, but when I try to set up Google pay or Google fit, I get an error message on the watch that there is no connection. For the record, I’m technically savvy and previously set up a Samsung watch with no issues.Update: Before returning the watch, I decided to try once more, so I deleted the associated apps, unpaired the watch and phone, restarted both and started from the beginning. This time it actually worked. I increased my rating to 3 stars and will update later when I get more familiar with the functionality.

Overall I really like this watch. I had a gen 2 fossil and honestly it was so bad it almost stopped me from buying one again. However I’m glad I gave it another chance. As the numbers would suggest Gen 5 is light-years away from 2 and the improvements are significant. My one problem is with the fitness-tracking of this phone. The Google fit app does not sync with my phone at all and my watch is normally a half mile less than my phone every single day. Along with the mileage, my steps, and move minutes are also always off. I have reset the watch, reinstalled the app messed with every setting that I could find and even got a new phone during this time but the tracking is always off. Since the stats are so different from my phone I can never be sure if my phone is somehow over tracking or if the watch is under tracking. Makes it hard to trust either and really know what my activities are like. and since a main part of the reason people tend to buy smart watches is for the fitness part, this is a bit of a sticking point.Battery life is surprisingly good, voice-to-text works well, messaging & email sink fast and music controls are great.. love the NFC.
