I like the size of this fitness tracker .. not too big like a smart watch or too small. I also like the display, the font is large and the options are colorful. The reason I only gave it a 2 stars is because it doesn’t accurately track your steps. I think the tracker count your steps from arm movements (??) I would be sitting or standing still but doing other stuff with my hands and the number of steps increased. For example .. I was washing dishes and when I finished, the fitness tracker showing I did 53 steps .. hmm. Wear it on a hike and compare with another tracker, this one is off by 5,000 steps. Well, i guess i will just use it to see the time .. sigh

*** I just wanted to add an update:This device hands down has helped me manage to prove I am having erratic heart issues, and thanks to the vibration notices and the charts it keeps synced it helps to show to my doctor what is going on with my heart rate. So this device itself could save my life! That means more then anything, especially being able to again have the charts to prove things! I can not be thankful enough for this device! There’s not much to dislike about this Fitbit. It’s amazing! It helps me track my sleep and my sleep patterns. It tracks my heart rate. It tells you how many calories you burn each day, counts your steps. It even records all your information when it’s not synced with your bluetooth, and when you do connect it syncs your information. It gives you charts on a calendar. I LOVE this!!

I bought this Fitness tracker when the software for the popular Letcom stopped working following a recent update: it only tracked steps after the update and did not give other data. This fitness tracker is MUCH better: 1) the battery lasts a LOT longer; I charged it on Monday and it’s now Friday and it’s still almost fully charged 2) the app for Android WORKS! it seems to accurately measure my steps, heartbeat, sleep, and blood pressure (not sure about BP, but it seems within expectations); the app is clear, attractive and easy to install and sync (the syncing is automatic). Unlike the Letscom VeryFitPro crap app, this app actually closes when you close the app and does not continue to run in the background using resources and battery. The only thing I don’t like about this app is that I denied it access to my contacts, camera, and phone, but it continues to nag me each time I open it for access to these.

I previously had a Fitbit which died and I hated the idea of spending $199 for one with heart monitor. When I saw this, I thought – perfect – not wearing it for style but for info when I walk. The first one sent wouldn’t charge at all so the company replaced it quickly (kudos for customer service) but the replacement won’t sync easily with my Pixel phone. It tries to pair for literally 30 minutes. I put it in the charger and it still is searching for the watch even though my phone and watch are sitting side by side. It’s annoying. The watch itself is kind of clunky. I’m sending this one back also – if you don’t care about it being “clunky looking” and you don’t care about syncing to your phone for extended info, it’s okay. It may sync easier with an Apple device, but it doesn’t work for me.

I bought this to replace a Runtastic Orbit and it is in comparison to that device I am making my review.5 years ago, I bought my first (and only until this one) “wearable”, a Runtastic Orbit for ~$75. Runtastic was bought out by Adidas, the phone app changed (for the worse) and now Adidas has ended all support.SO… I thought it’s time to buy a new one. I wanted something close to what I had. I didn’t/don’t need GPS tracking; I don’t really need a heart-rate monitor. But all of the basic models appeared to be cheap junk from a sweat shop factory. The FLOMO at least claimed to have some Americans in the planning/design process, so I went with it.Comparing it against my 5 year old Orbit (which still works, although no longer receiving support):Wear/Comfort: The Orbit came with a belt clip and 2 rubber wrist bands with hard rubber fastener. The FLOMO came with one rubber wrist band with a metal buckle. The metal buckle has sharp edges, not good if you tend to swell when working out (which I do). One of my two Orbit wrist straps broke after about 3 years of use and the dog ate the other, so now I use just the belt clip.Battery – Orbit still (after 5 years) gets about 6 days/charge. FLOMO (new) gets about the same – UNLESS you accidentally turn on the heart rate monitor which will suck up your battery fast. The FLOMO does charge quicker – about 1/2 hour vs. Orbit’s 2 hours.Accuracy – On a walk with a counted 1000 steps, the Orbit (on a belt clip) counted 988 steps. The FLOMO (on my wrist) only counted 863 steps. I wore the FLOMO for a 1 mile walk and somehow got less steps than for a 1/2 mile jog.App: Both units can share data to Google Fit. Orbit originally had a family of apps that worked with the Orbit (running, walking, even push-ups). FLOMO just has the one app.Sleep monitor: Orbit can be told when you’re going to bed and when you get up by pushing the button. FLOMO guesses when you go to bed and get up [I’m not sure how]. When I take the FLOMO off in the morning to get in the shower, it thinks I’m still asleep.Instructions – The FLOMO comes with a short “get started” guide and no other instructions. Their website does not provide any more information than what you receive with the device.

my old tracker watch finally quit working so it’s time to get me a new one. I found this one in my favorite color and very reasonably priced. the app was easy to download it was easy to set up to my phone I like that it’s waterproof and the battery lasts a long time I don’t have to charge it but every few days it tracks your daily goal for walking tracks your calories your activity time and even tracks your sleeping as well as your heart rate monitor that’s built into it. the best thing about the heart rate monitor is it has a heart alarm if there’s any abnormalities. like even better that is waterproof and it’s a very comfortable fit on my wrist. even came with a website if you need any support or the user’s guide. would make a great gift for anybody but this one is mine.
