Took it up today for it’s first day on the mountain. It does what it says. All my friends were envious lol. Had snow fall and rain at the bottom of Northstar and it held up well to the moisture. Overall I totally dig the product and it is exactly what I was looking for. I did use velcro with adhesive backing to attach it to my jacket sleeve so I could just leave it on my jacket and never forget it. Which is just personal preference. Also I really wish they had more color options!

Chubby Buttons can be used in conjunction with a Bluetooth receiver to wirelessly control *and play* music from your phone.When I’m skiing I like to be able to take my phone out of my pocket without the hassle of wires. Usually, I use a small BT receiver (from Amazon) that I plug my headphones into and stream music from my phone. But most BT receivers only have a single button that works to play/pause music from inside my jacket pocket. I saw *large* skip, rewind, and volume buttons on this device and ordered it immediately. When it arrived I realized I had mistakenly assumed it would have a headphone jack.But…I tried connecting this thing to my phone in addition to my BT receiver and it worked! Music streamed wirelessly to the receiver and the phone still responded to the control commands from Chubby Buttons.

I mounted these using a simple bracket on my motorcycle. Even with cold weather gloves the buttons are super easy to use and connecting each time I get on the bike never fails.

This is exactly what i need for snowboarding. Nothing is more annoying then having to reach in your jacket to mute your phone to talk to friends on the chair lift only to have to do it again becore you get off the chairlift. Being able to mute and skip tracks on the go is amazing. Its pairs really quick and can handle abuse. Ive used it in powder and in the pouring rain with no issues. Highly recommended

Took Chubby skiing today. It was cold and snowing. Chubby was often covered in snow but still performed perfectly. It makes having music so much easier when you are skiing.

I synced this with my galaxy s21 ultra. At first it kept saying I needed an app to use it, so I went to find the chubby buttons app on the play store, which I couldn’t download because it was made for an earlier version of android.The QR code that comes with it for an “important firmware update”, sends you to a site that doesn’t exist anymore.Once I finally got it linked to my phone and working, it would work until it went to sleep, then not connect anymore.While this may be a useful device for others, it is not only useless, but overpriced for me. I’ve sent the company several emails, to which none have been responded to. I returned the product.-edit. The company has reached out to me trying to alleviate this situation, so I’m temporarily changing this review to reflect the customer service they’ve shown. I will however come back and re-edit it if the product still shows to be defective.2nd edit. I received a replacement product from the company and am currently testing it. So far, the new unit seems to be working much better than the first (this one was promised to already have the firmware update, that I previously was unable to achieve).I’m leaving the 4 star review up as not only is the customer service commendable, but the new updates unit seems to live up to the advertised usability. If this continues to be usable (battery life, connect ability, reliability), I may update the review to 5 stars as I’ll no longer have any reason to not like the unit.

Chubby Buttons solve an annoying problem – – not being able to hear your friends when skiing! I routinely listen to music when skiing and mountain biking. With CB’s, I’ve been able to enjoy music and my friends at the same time. I can quickly and discreetly turn off music or adjust the volume anytime. The buttons work well regardless of how terrible the conditions are. Since they are linked to my phone, they are also handy when working remotely from ski lifts.

I wasn’t sure I was gonna like The chubby button’s, but the more I use the buttons while skiing the happier I got. People would comment about it while I was on the chairlift with them, and would say that’s actually a really great idea! Highly recommend The chubby buttons

I’ve always been looking for a convenient solution to control my earphones while snowboarding so that I don’t need to take off my gloves. Chubby Buttons works perfectly. It’s very easy to connect, attach to my arm and control even with mitts on.

I love my Chubby buttons! This device works perfect as stated with gloves. It was always a struggle when snowmobiling to take off my gloves, take out my phone to turn off music for quick stop & conversations with our group. Now I just have to hit pause, plus, I can skip music tracks that come up to frequently because shuffle sucks! I’ll be buying another to give to my husband, It’s easy to pair and you can still simultaneously Bluetooth to music. I have not used it for the phone call feature so I can’t comment on that.
