I have done many headsets installation for motorcycle & motorsport helmets. This is the thickest headset speaker I worked with. The speakers are almost 1cm thick. There were a lot of work, material to remove or push around, to get the speakers properly placed inside the helmet ear padding to relief pressure from the helmet user. Recommend using the phone app for the helmet to helmet intercom setup. Each unit needs to sync with specific phone for the device firmware update. This is just my setup comment. Post more after testing on trails

    Great service and best product

This is a great communication system, and it is easy to set up. If your friends also have one, you can talk to each other. So far I don’t know anyone else with one, so I can’t test out that feature but I think it’s such a great idea. This doesn’t have any lag when talking on the phone, and you can control everything from the device or by saying, “Hey Cardo”, so you don’t have to mess with your phone, which is great. This does look kind of bulky on the side of the helmet, but the function you get makes it worth it. It is also IP67 waterproof, so you don’t have to baby it when it’s raining or in the snow. The sound has been great and is loud enough for me.Overall, I would say that I recommend this communication system, especially if your friends use the same brand and you can all communicate with each other.

I got this for my brother to use on a snowboarding trip. This outdoor communication system came recommend to me by a friend and it was the perfect gift for my brother. He said he used it every day and the sound quality was great. However, I just wish I got the product sooner because it ended up arriving the same day he left for the trip so it was cutting it quite close.

The Packtalk Outdoor Helmet Communication System is a top-of-the-line intercom system designed for use by motorcyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, and other users who require reliable communication in challenging environments. The system boasts several impressive features, including voice-activated communication and Bluetooth connectivity. One of the standout features of the Packtalk system is its ability to provide seamless communication even in noisy environments. The system uses noise-cancellation to filter out wind, engine noise, and other distractions, ensuring clear and consistent communication between riders or group members. In terms of sound quality I was also pleasantly surprised and the only real downside to these is the price

I didn’t realize that only one unit came in the pack. I was expecting two, so it could be useful, for the price. However, only one did come, forcing me to orde another one, doubling the price. These work well, and I suspect they would work great for their intended purpose. However, if your environment is exceptionally noisy, it becomes hard to hear. That being said, though, there’s not really anything that works well in noisy environments when the ambient decibels get too high, so it’s not really a knock on this device. If you are using it for a motorcycle, or for Skydiving (like I am), expect to get more use out of it at low speeds or under canopy. Great for CRW work… not so great for freefall or highspeed riding. These are one of the better brand on Amazon, so you won’t go wrong with this, but it will cost you!

Yo, what’s up folks? Mike P here, back again with another dope product review for all my thrill-seeking homies out there. Today, I wanna talk about the Cardo Packtalk Outdoor Helmet Communication System. Now, if you’re into skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, or cycling, then you know how important it is to stay connected with your crew while you’re out there shredding it up. That’s where the Cardo Packtalk comes in.Let me tell you, this thing is a game-changer. The sound quality is crystal clear, even when you’re flying down the mountain at breakneck speeds. And the range is insane, so you can stay connected with your buddies no matter how far apart you are.But what really sets the Cardo Packtalk apart from the competition is its intuitive design. It’s super easy to use, even with gloves on, and the voice-activated controls mean you don’t have to take your hands off your bars or your ski poles to adjust the volume or take a call. Plus, the fact that it’s waterproof and dustproof means you don’t have to worry about it crapping out on you halfway through your ride.Overall, I gotta say, I’m super impressed with the Cardo Packtalk. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality communication system to keep you connected with your squad while you’re out there crushing it, then look no further. This thing is the real deal.

We do a lot of skiing as a family and you never realize how hard it is to communicate with each other, or at least I didn’t, until we started really getting into it about two years ago. We’ve tried some other brands, or at least me, and my husband got some, the kids are a little too young for them. This was definitely a lot more pricey than the other ones we’ve used and I debated getting it considering we would have to buy another one to use that functionality. But we decided to take a plunge and were able to find one a little bit less than full price, which was nice.Setup wasnt horribly difficult but it was a bit time consuming. to do it the day before we went on our trip because I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out the day of. to do it the day before we went on our trip because I wouldn’t of been able to figure it out the day of. As far as sound quality goes, I can’t really ask for anything better. It’s crisp and clear no matter what you’re doing or which function you’re using. We’ve only been able to test this out once so far since we’ve only gone up skiing one time, but so far I think it’s pretty solid product. I don’t know if it’s worth the $250 price point, if being honest, maybe like $150 at the most. But if my opinion changes after more frequent use I will definitely let you know!
