   This Bose Soundwear is exactly what I have been needing for a long time. I am constantly connected to music or audiobooks and have only had the option of earbuds or headphones which are perfect for air travel or laying in bed to not disturb the wife or speakers which are great for outside listening or around the house when I am by myself. Neither of these solutions have worked for me when working around the house and one of the kids wants to watch tv, so off goes the speaker and can’t put on earbuds or headphones because I need to listen for the door or phone. This Soundwear is absolutely perfect for this. They are loud enough to hear perfectly with amazing sound and they can’t be heard by anyone not too close to me and frees my ears for everything else that I need to be aware of. I will be wearing this daily at my desk at work and around the house.The call quality on this is just amazing as the sound. My daughter called me earlier and she made a comment on how great the call sounded and asked if I had a new phone. She couldn’t believe that I was talking on a Bluetooth connected device. She sounded perfect as well.I have already recommended this to all of my friends and family that are just as into music and audiobooks as I am. I even recommended To my dentist today and he has already picked it up and called to thank me and let me know it has been his favorite audio purchase ever and I think that I have to agree with him and I have at least 10 quality headphones and earbuds and five quality Bluetooth speakers.I am thinking that a second one is now needed as my wife loves it as much as I do and I am not wanting to share with her. This has rarely left my neck since I bought it and I just keep loving it more. It really is the greatest product that you never knew existed and you will love this.

   I bought these so I could listen to podcasts during my 45-60 minute bike commute. They work great for biking! The only time I can’t clearly hear my podcasts is when a motorcycle goes by. Other cyclists do notice the sound when we pass each other, or when I pull up behind them at a stoplight. But as far as I can tell it’s not loud enough to actually bother anyone. Also, using Google maps on my phone to navigate while biking is so much better with these speakers. I can hear the nav clearly without blasting the volume on my phone.For the price I wanted to use them more often than just while biking, and it turns out they’re great speakers all around. I now do not want to use the phone without them – they’re way better than using the speakerphone, for both me and whomever I talking with. And even for listening to music at home, I prefer these to any other speakers I own.My sister is hard of hearing, so I bought these for her, and she LOVES them! She connected them to her TV, and now she can hear dialog and sound effects she hasn’t heard for years, and she doesn’t have to blast the volume on the TV. She also uses them for phone calls, both at home and in the car, and she loves that she can hear people clearly even while she’s driving.Battery life is really impressive. After 2 hours listening to them on the bike, the battery is still at 80%. I never fear running out of charge. My only tiny little complaint is that the charging port is perpendicular to the zipper on the cover, so you have to unzip the cover further and stretch it out a bit to plug in the charger; it would’ve been better if the port were parallel to the zipper. But seriously, that is the only “complaint” I have about these speakers. I love them.

   Endlich das Lautstärkenproblem bei der Verbindung mit dem Fernseher gelöst.Bei den meisten Fernsehen wird ein Transmitter gebraucht, um mit Bluetooth einenLautsprecher zu verbinden. Da ich den Lautstärkenregler nicht betätigen konnte und weder Fa.Bose noch die wirklich hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter verschiedener Elektronik Geschäfte dieses Problem nicht lösen konnten, ich aber unbedingt den Bose soundweare habenwollte, habe ich Stunden lang die Kommentare im Internet gelesen mit dem Fazit , dass der Transmitter Avantree audikast viele Paarings Probleme löst, also habe ich gehofft, dass er vielleicht auch m ein Problem löst. Bei Amazon bestellt und am nächsten Tag hatte ich laute Bose Kopfhörer und bin ganz glücklich, da ich links praktisch taub bin, aber keine Hörgeräte tragen kann.

   Device is of good quality and sound is great. Unfortunately, it completes the list of praises for this devise.The description of the Soundwave leads you to think that device would come “naked” and to protect dynamics from dirt you’d better buy cover in addition to it.In reality, device comes with black cover and you would be buying questionable pleasure of replacing it with exactly the same (as far as material and design go) cover of another color. More honesty in describing what exactly customer would be getting might save me money, but would build up the trust.Now about functionality. What exactly are you buying for couple hundred dollars?Person wearing this devise hears sound about 3 times louder than person sitting in the same car or at the same table near him.3 times lower volume is still a volume easy to hear. It means that conversation or other listening experience is not private. If you need privacy or if you really want to listen to music without disturbing or distracting your partner, you should buy $10 – $50 earphones or headphones.Conclusion:Solidly build high quality very expensive toy for a week with no practical application.

   No son la revolución del mundo del audio como promocionan y mucho menos un casco de audición virtual que reemplaza los audífonos; son unas bocinas bluetooth como cualquier otra…PERO, a diferencias de otras bocinas portátiles, si se escuchan stereo y eso es un punto muy fuerte que me convenció en comprarlas.El problema que tengo con las otras bocinas es que independiente de como las coloques, no dejan de sonar monoaural y como estoy demasiado acostumbrado a usar audífonos o bocinas en el escritorio para una mejor separación de sonido, los otros diseños de bocinas no me llamaban la atención ni para ponerlas como sonido de fondo.El diseño de estas que cargas contigo mantiene una constancia en la calidad de audio. Las disfruto mucho en la oficina ya que por el posicionamiento de las bocinas y el ingenio Bose, con volumen menor de 60% es muy difícil que otras personas escuchen a más de 1.5 m (si lo medí), además de permitir mantener tu audición pendiente del entorno por si alguien te habla o tienes niños pequeños haciendo travesuras. Para salir a la calle en calles poco transitadas tambien sirven pero aquí si hay que subir el volumen al máximo y la gente te va escuchar si o si.La calidad de audio… pues es el sonido Bose, sin detalles en medios y altos, pero claros, no los recomiendo para metal o pistas que tengan mucho dinamismo, pop moderno bastante bien, en especial acústica. Bajos controlados y con buena profundidad, suficiente para disfrutar música electrónica o hiphop. La separación como son stereo es buena (no se compara a un audífono) pero suficiente para disfrutar la música como normalmente lo hacemos. Si se tarda uno en acostumbrar al efecto de tener bocinas bajo los oídos pero a mi en la primera semana de uso me adapte bastante bien.Como aspecto negativo la batería dura 12 horas y pues se me hace algo corta su carga aunque entiendo que es pporque son 2 bocinas y el procesador de audio, aún así :(. La app forzosamente pide gps activado a lo cual no le agradó a mi paranoia (más no es necesaria para usarlos, solo para configuración).En conclusión, si buscas una bocina bluetooth que sea stereo y con un sonido cómodo para escuchar de fondo mientras trabajas o haces alguna actividad demandante de atención, son buena inversión.

   Great idea and love it when connected to devices where SoundWear volume controls are responsive (PC, Smartphone) – but volume controls on SoundWear unresponsiveness when connected to too many other devices (Samsung TV, Yamaha amplifier) for good rating – which means it can’t be used for purpose it was bought for – listening to TV late at night without discomfort of wearing headphones – Bose has a significant reputation for quality but there’s clearly an issue with the SoundWear volume controls which means it is currently fit for a very narrow range of uses only.

   J’étais assez réticent à l’acheter vu son prix, mais j’ai cédé, au pire après l’avoir essayé un moment je l’aurai renvoyé.Finalement là où il excelle c’est surtout en extérieur, en fond sonore léger. Je l’utilise dans mes balades en pleine nature, c’est le but pour lequel je l’ai acheté. Sympa aussi pour les podcasts audio, la radio…Après comme le disent certains moi aussi je trouve qu’il a un son trop basseux, mais on peut les réduire avec l’appli Bose Connect (j’ai réglé à -5).Ensuite je pense que le son est jugé par la plupart comme mal équilibré, ça surprend de la part de Bose qui sont doués pour les enceintes portables habituellement.Il est probable que cela soit volontaire de la part de la marque : le son m’a l’air d’être étalonné de façon à être agréable sur la durée à cette distance des oreilles, et malgré une certaine pollution sonore extérieure. Tout en étant intelligible au niveau de la voix, sans sibillance.Niveau confort ça me convient très bien, j’oublie vite sa présence.Bref je recommande, mais ça dépend beaucoup de l’utilisation que vous en faites.Si c’est pour rester en intérieur avec, je vous suggère d’oublier ! Les autres casques et enceintes de la marque sont meilleurs pour ça.

   This gets 5 stars from me because if I lost it today I’d immediately buy another one. The thing about it that I really like is that I can listen to stuff (music, podcasts etc) while still being able to hear what’s going on around me, which is not the case with headphones. My main use is while walking the dog. Even though I can clearly hear the sound coming out of it doesn’t seem to bother anyone I pass. That doesn’t mean that people in close proximity can’t hear it at all. They can. But, unless you have it at high volume, the sound they hear is not intrusive. I also use it around the house when I’m doing various menial chores but want to be able to hear what’s going on outside of my own head 🙂 I’ve given it 5 stars overall but only 4 for value for money because, after all, it’s quite expensive.

   These neck speakers are superb! I saw these and other makes reviewed on Techmoan’s YouTube channel and he recommended these. Well that was enough to make me go and buy a set. I’m really glad I did! They allow you to hear things like the doorbell, washing machine bleep and telephone ringing whilst allowing for private listening. I wouldn’t recommend these for public transport as others can hear the music too. Battery life is excellent. The only gripe I have is locating the USB socket when charging. It’s a little fiddly. Comfortable to wear.

    Endlich habe ich die für mich/uns optimalen Lautsprecher / Headset gefunden. Ich nutze diese Lautsprecher sowohl täglich über mehr als 8 Stunden als Headset in meinem Homeoffice als auch abends auf der Couch, wenn unser Kleiner schläft und wir mal einen Film zu zweit genießen wollen.1. Einsatz als Headset im HomeofficeIn den letzten Jahren habe ich schon viele Headsets ausprobiert. Keines davon war optimal. Zuletzt hatte ich sogar die teuren Kopfhörer von Sony (WH-1000XM2 mit Noise Cancelling) probiert. Mit diesen Kopfhörern hatte ich zwei Probleme: a) nach kurzer Zeit fangen die Ohren an zu schwitzen, ständiges Tragen ist daher für mich nicht möglich. b) die Noise Cancelling / Sound Optimizer Funktion schaltet sich nach ein paar Minuten immer aus. Alle Umgebungsgeräusche werden vom eingebauten Mikrophon verstärkt und an die Zuhörer übertragen. Mitschreiben auf der Tastatur während des Telefonates war nicht möglich.Der Bose Lautsprecher sitzt auf der Schulter. Weil er so leicht ist geht das problemlos den ganzen Arbeitstag lang. Der Bluetooth-Klang vom Smartphone ist sowohl für die Sprachqualität als auch für das Hören einwandfrei. Auch das Mitschreiben klappt jetzt wieder (leises klappern ist natürlich immer noch für die Gesprächsteilnehmer zu hören). Einfach genial.2. Einsatz als Lautsprecher auf der CouchWir haben einen Yamaha Receiver im Nebenraum stehen. Über den Headphone-Chinch Stecker ist ein Taotronics Bluetooth Adapter Transmitter eingesteckt, weil wir zu zweit auf der Couch einen Film sehen wollen, ohne unser Kind im Raum nebenan den Schlaf zu rauben. Mit den Sony Kopfhören funktionierte das zwar ganz gut, aber leider nur, wenn wir mindestens einen Meter auseinander saßen, sonst hatten wir Tonaussetzer. Filmsehen bei gleichzeitigem Kuscheln war bisher leider tabu ☹. Auch das gemeinsame Lachen oder kurze Unterhaltung erwies sich als mühsam. Man war eben in seiner eigenen Glocke.Den Bose Lautsprecher setzt jetzt einer von uns auf die Schulter. Die Verbindung läuft nach wie vor über Taotronics (die Bluetooth-Funktion des Yamaha Receivers ist anscheinend zu schwach und verursacht Zeitverzögerungen als auch Tonaussetzer). Leider funktioniert die Lautstärkeregelung über den Bose so nicht. Nach wenigen Filmen / Fußballspielen haben wir die für uns optimale Lautstärke gefunden bei der wir super gut auch alle leise gesprochenen Passagen gut hören, die laute Musik zwischendurch – vor allem bei dramatischen Szenen oder Torjubeln – als auch leise genug, dass unser Sohn im Nebenzimmer gut einschlafen bzw. schlafen kann. Wir sehen also endlich wieder gemeinsam Filme und genießen das Kuscheln wieder. Den Bose Sound finden wir perfekt. Traumhaft.Der dritte Einsatz ist jetzt auch schon in der Planung und zwar als Headset für Live-Schulungen verbunden mit dem iPad oder Smartphone. Das wird bestimmt genauso perfekt klappen wie die beiden anderen getesteten Einsatzmethoden.Nur das Einstecken des USB-Steckers für das Aufladen des Akkus finde ich etwas friemelig. Der Akku hält dafür aber sehr lange. 100% am Morgen, 80% nach Feierabend und 70% nach Filmsehen. Klasse.Hoffe, diese Rezension hilft euch bei eurer Lautsprecher / Headset-Wahl weiter.Rainer

    The is one of those products which was more than likely dismissed when first pitched to the Audio director at Bose lol. But thankfully it made it to the shelves, I cannot speak highly enough of this product, it is a joy to use, it’s not for the office, but where it shines is at home working some emails, reading a report, doing cleaning, general house work, walking alone early in the morning or late at night when no one is around. The special mention here is cycling or out and about on your new electric scooter, you can hear your surroundings and still have your music literally on your shoulders. The sound quality is great and the bass in ample, but only if you use an app equalizer. The device could be louder, but this is only when riding, to be honest I think that Bose are missing a trick here as perhaps they should make a bigger, louder, IP rated one for cycling and motorbikes as you can actually hear this through a helmet. Great product although wish you didn’t have to unzip to charge, secondly would be great if there was an active version that could be secured around the neck. Seriously until you try it don’t rule it out. Massive Thumbs up BOSE.
