For seriously technical users, this may (or may not) be a good product. It is emphatically NOT for the casual user. The included software is poor and outdated (and needs to be paid for separately, and can’t be purchased without contacting sales, and PC only….). The support materials (user guides, etc) are a mess. Cluttered and unclear. More like unpolished technical development documents. They provide all a lot of detailed technical info, but very little practical usage. The company provides virtually no online support. Also, while I may have gotten a bum battery, I am not getting under 4 hours of usage in the most conservative mode after letting the device sit idle for a months (because it turned out the learning curve took more time than i had!) and maybe a half dozen charge cycles. So…follow meticulous battery care if you do get it.Basically, this is geared towards group sales, maybe researchers, government….not the casual user. You WILL struggle with this.Took forever to deliver, too….not looking forward to whatever PITA process I’ll need to go through to get the battery replaced :).On the plus side, you do have access to the raw data from the device, which is great, provided you want to take the time to do your own analysis. So if you’re a techie, enjoy :). It’s the only commercial option out there for measuring breathing parameters (Please, let me know in comments if you’re aware of others, or want to launch a startup!).First impression. Feedback welcome. May update review.

Has more sensor info then other options popularly available out there. There are a number of mobile apps that are supporting this. You’ve probably done the research considering the price, so consider the following:Breathing rate is not supposed to be accurate during activity, but I find it (while skating) to reflect my effort level consistently.Temperature is not available over Bluetooth. One of the few devices with real ECG level data. Works well at rest or low activity, but becomes distorted with moderate activity, at least if the torso is involved. Good applications to adjust the variations may be able to negate this.Bluetooth 2, rather than a newer standard.
