One of the metal bracket came unattached, I had to sew it back to the headband before I could try it on. The headband only had one piece of elastic, and it was not tight for my head. The worst part is the draw string cord – it was too flat and didn’t generate enough friction to be held tight by the spring loaded button. When there is a breeze, the entire umbrella flew off my head. I had to hold it with my hands while walking. This beats the purpose of the entire “wear it on your head” thing. Back to use my parasol.

The silver umbrella hat has no merit. Does not protect the face and neck from sun and it’s too small to protect you from rain as the rain will fall on your shoulders. I originally bought it for sun and it is of no use. Also it is extremely uncomfortable to the head giving me a headache with in 30 seconds. I will be returning

I use this for carrying mail great to keep the sun completely off of my face. If it’s windy it’s hard to keep on but I’m looking forward to use it this fall when it rains

I purchased these for my daughter. She absolutely loves them.it’s so much easier for her to walk around with it on Ur head instead of holding an umbrella to block the sun from burning down on her. She is very happy

Went for a 4 hour hike in the rain and was bone dry at the end! It was even fine when the wind picked up, just had to turn my head a certain way. I recommend a head band under it for a snug and comfortable fit.

If you want shade this is a must!

I purchased this item to help Shield the sun. I reside in Arizona and the temperatures can get up to 115. Today was 110, with a very light breeze at best. The unit flew off my head, turned inside out, the straps broke that were around my chin, the one inside tore. All of this in a matter of walking to the bus stop!! Just horrible with no stability, is not “wind from a walk” proof and lacks sturdiness.
