This helmet is amazing. When I called my mother on the phone while riding my bike at 25 miles an hour she usually complains because all the wind is hitting my Bluetooth microphone but with this helmet she couldn’t hear a thing other than my voice! She couldn’t hear car, wind or anything other than me speaking. There is a little microphone the very front part of the helmet that is aimed down and somehow just picks up your voice.The speakers are above each of your ears. You can hear the other person speaking load and clear. Also you can easily hear music. The music is not high quality like if you had ear buds in but is perfect for riding as you can hear and you’re ears are not plugged so you can hear cars and anything else so you can ride safely.I wasn’t sure before I purchase this so I also purchased another helmet made by Cornos. I’m returning the Cornos Bluetooth helmet because I just couldn’t hear because it was not loud enough.I’ve only had the helmet for a week and so far am very happy. I bought a medium and it may be a tad small. I’m considering getting a large to compare. It has an easy adjustment thing in the back of the helmet.Overall I’d highly recommend this helmet

I bought this helmet because I always talk to my brother, who drives trucks, on the phone. I figured I can get some exercise, hop on a bike and talk to him while riding without the annoying wind blowing through my standard headphones… with this helmet he hears absolutely nothing but my voice loud and clear even when its windy, & his voice comes clear aswell… that was my main focus while buying this product and I am amazed by its performance! I Really recommend this if you just want to talk to a friend while riding… Positive vibes and Time flies by fast. if they removed the pointless camera and have this helmet for a little bit cheaper it would be perfect but still, I am very satisfied! worth the money!

Probably works great. However the sizes are inaccurate, incredibly small. I purchased a large for myself and a medium for my 5 foot tall wife. Neither came close to fitting. My wife couldn’t even get the Large on. To bad, I looked forward to using the product.

UPDATE: I upped it from 3 to 4 stars. I finally broke down and bought a bicycle cap to shade my eyes. I read another reviewer who said a cap does NOT interfere with the communication system between helmets. It would have been helpful if the SENA helmet company would have mentioned this in their sales post. Still, a sun visor attached to the helmet from SENA would have been better.This is a conundrum. I really like the helmet for the ‘talki’ system.I measured my head and I definitely needed the medium size but I get a headache every time I wear the helmet.I also have a regular helmet, $24.00, which fits me perfectly, no headaches. So, there is something about this helmet that doesn’t fit right. I noticed the cushi padding on the inside is of lesser thickness than my husband’s helmet (large size).Also, for the large amount of money spent on this helmet they could at least attach a sun visor!Now I have to figure out what craft foam to use and where to stick the velcro and thus make it one ugly looking helmet.Since there is a microphone in front of the helmet the visor has to be attached on the outside of the helmet.I looked into buying a bicycle cap but the visor part would block the microphone, so that won’t work.

I bought two of these last year at the close of the bicycle riding season. They are great and we were so excited to use them this year. About a month into the bicycle riding season this year, one of the helmets completely died. I thought it was a dead battery so we tried all of the trickle charging and other ways to charge the battery. It would never charge. We also tried resetting the helmet and that didn’t work. And of course because the two seasons that we used the helmets or several months apart, we don’t qualify for a return and I believe they’re out of warranty. So $430 later we still can’t communicate while riding our bikes together. The sound quality had been so good that we didn’t even mind looking like doc from Back to the Future. But we’re super disappointed at this point. And would not recommend these helmets to anyone.

We purchased one of these helmets for me and one for my wife. Being able to communicate while riding is a real game changer. I feel that we are much safer knowing what what is going on with the other rider. Other reviewers have commented about this model not having a visor. I prefer wearing a baseball cap under the helmet. My wife and I both wear baseball caps under our helmets, and we can hear each other over the intercom with no problem. The bill of the cap does not affect the microphone.
