BE ADVISED……..Thermometer IS IN CELSIUS/CENTIGRADE. which puts we Americans in the dunce corner.

Seems like a neat idea, but compass is somewhat off, so I’m not thrilled about that. At least it’s off to the side, so if the person I’m giving it to doesn’t like that, then he can cut it off or something. Light works and the other features seem neat. The temperature is in Celcius, so I converted it to Fahrenheit and it seems correct, so I’m happy about that.

Compass does not work, air bubbles in compass keeps disc from turningGot free replacement

I have to admit that I really love this watch. It’s big and a bit clunky, but the features are surprisingly good. The light is exceptionally bright, even if I’m just checking the time. It is really convenient having a flashlight like that only a button push away, and the battery is still going on the first charge. I was surprised by how warm the light gets, but not unexpected by any source of illumination. The one real issue I have with it is the compass doesn’t work. It get’s stuck, and wont give a proper reading. I would suggest a ball compass as an improvement.

It has just about everything you could put on a bracelet. Compass and thermometer works well. It’s a little bulky but doesn’t really get in the way. The only 2 negative things I think of are that it seems like some of the metal tools would be difficult to use (but if you’re using them you’re probably in a right spot anyway) and the flint doesn’t strike too easily (although I haven’t struck a ton of flints in my life.)

Besides all the usual stuff in one of these bracelets I wanted a flashlight and a thermometer. This has ’em both and they work well enough for me. As others have noted the thermometer is in Celsius not Farenhiet. {It is also very small.] I keep my conversion pretty simple–0 C=32F 15 C=60F 30 C=86F. My general comfort zone is about 15-25C, depending on the triangulated distance { and solar position} in relation to me, the beer cooler and the grill. As far as the whistle goes? it goes far enough. The compass is adequate as long as you remove the tools in the bracelets clasp. Spekaing of the tools–I personally don’t have much use for them, theyr’e are better than nothing but not by much. But it’s what I expected so no muss no fuss. Especially at this price. I would recommend that you practice removing them and putting them back in place. I found it to be a p.i.a. the first couple of tries, but it got easier . Which is why I also recommend anyone not experienced in using a firestarter to maybe get a little practice in. Take it outsde, scrape off the dark coating and commence to sparking! {And don’t be ashamed if you have a problem getting your tinder lit up. YouTube will help you, not judge you.] Being up to your bumpers in mud and having to make a dash in the pouring rain to the piney woods for shelter while singing “Light My Fire” won’t get it done, The Doors ain’t taking requests. Anyway, I like this piece of gear, it has the things I wanted and the price was fair.

Lots of features. Can’t say anything other than I have had a few different versions of survival bracelets, and these would be the best.

Decent product for the price. Good compass, amazingly loud whistle. Love the adjustability and the LED light which could flash SOS. The knife is great for when you need a quick way to open a package or cut something. It is well made and is sturdy. Happy with this purchase.

I always modify my toys. These two are really good for the price especially. I melted the ends a little better and removed the adjustable pinch slide thing. I also sharpened the metal edges inside to give a usable cutting edge and a better fire steel striker. I have started three fires with this already. The LED light is really good too. There’s two inside and it is waterproof. You can not change the battery. When it’s dead, it’s dead. The light is a single piece with no openings that I can see. I’ve had it submerged and no issues at all. The compass seems to be accurate and the thermometer works, but is in Celsius. You will need to convert the displayed temp to Farenheit if applicable. I love mine and would buy these again. Also, I removed the label on the light because I thought I made it look too cheesy. I used some break cleaner. Fingernail polish removal will work too. All mods done with basic stuff; lighter, pliers, knife/scissors, hand files. If you are a person that would actually wear this, you can probably do these mods too. They are well worth it.
