I love this smartwatch!! I had tried a different one, but it was so bulky. I love this one because it looks feminine and can be dressed up or everyday wear. If I could have one wish, it would be to add a speaker so that I could answer calls, or listen to music straight from the watch, but other than that, I love it. Also, it would be ideal if the battery life was a little longer. But honestly, I charge it overnight, so it runs all day without a problem.

The silicone band is so soft. The watch itself is gorgeous. It was incredibly easy to connect to my android phone and has never disconnected from Bluetooth. It does everything I need it to do, including displaying my sms and hangouts chats, pause audible/music, count my steps, etc.

I have to be honest, I’ve had the watch for a week today and I love it! It works perfectly! But I picked the leather band for mine and I can see it’s already wearing out. I’d wear it looser but the heart rate monitor doesn’t work if it’s not firmly against your wrist.I’m going to see how long it takes for it to look horrible and I’ll update my review! But maybe if you want this watch, get the other metal band.

I was so excited to receive this. I love Kate Spade products! There are a lot of features to exore, and I was under the impression there was a tutorial on the watch itself, but couldn’t find it. I also thought I would be able to respond to a text, but that was a no. After the fifth day, when I would change the face to match what I was wearing, I could no longer touch the screen to go through the prompts. I tried to troubleshoot, but couldn’t find anything on it, I couldn’t get it to turn off or restart. I put it back on the charger thinking that would help, but it didn’t. Tried it this morning and it’s still not working. Sadly I’m returning this very cute watch. My personal opinion if you’re looking for a smart watch, go with what you know…. Kate Spade is known for stylish looks, not technology. Thanks.

After reading reviews and comparing the original Scallop to this second generation Scallop, it was obvious that the second generation promised to be the one to offer the function of an Apple Watch with a sleeker and more fashion-conscious look. When I received my watch, it certainly fulfilled the stylishness it promised. I ordered the black two-tone watch with the black band, and it provided a great deal of versatility, especially with the customizable faces and colors. However, as I continue to use the watch, I realize it is not as functional as I hoped it would be.The Scallop 2, and pretty much every non-Apple watch uses the Wear OS by Google platform. Aside from the fact that this platform is not user-friendly and provides limited apps which suck the life out of the watch’s battery, and if you can overlook the glitching and connectivity issues between your phone and watch, then the Wear OS platform will provide you with a sub-par service at best.Another issue with the watch is the battery life. According to reviews, the watch is expected to hold a charge for at least 12 hours, while some reviewers claim the watch can hold a charge from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM with 15% battery life to spare. This is, of course, when you keep the watch on both “Do not Disturb” and “Airplane Mode,” the brightness of the watch face at a minimum, and a watch face with little to no animation. Did I fail to mention, you are not allowed to use any apps? And maybe then, your battery life may last as long as the reviews claim. So why am I keeping this watch? Because I like the way it looks. With the amount of research I did, only to find fault with each claim, please learn from my mistake and avoid this purchase unless you do enjoy pretty things, because that’s essentially what it is.

Sadly, I can’t recommend this KS watch. I currently have a Fitbit & I get about 4 days of battery life – which is great as a mom who doesn’t have time to stop & charge it all the time, BUT I wanted something fashionable. Even though all the reviews said the battery life sucks, I decided to try for myself…and WOW…the battery is worse than I imagined…it didn’t even last a day…and it took about 2 1/2 hours to charge up to 100%. My Fitbit takes like 20 mins to charge. Also, I don’t think the steps were accurate on the KS watch. Ultimately – this watch is adorable, so cute, but so so sadly it is awful and unusable because of the battery life.
