I have very mixed feelings about this one. If you want to watch videos, movies, drone footage, etc this is like an awesome big screen and still able to see your surroundings. For this type stuff the picture was very clear. If you need to read text for any reason then I couldn’t find anyway to stop seeing double. Also the shades were missing one of the two of the magnetic surfaces so it would latch on properly. I guess the pair I got didn’t go through a QA inspection.

I got this instead of other models because of its higher resolution, expecting it to be a portable, private screen for things like reading and typing instead of say FPV drones. But this feels uncomfortable when worn over my glasses, and there’s no way to adjust the position easily as with some VR headsets. And the display quality isn’t that nice – I can see some variation in brightness on a white screen. What’s worse, the lens eventually got scratched, and because of the way the optics work (reflections instead of refraction as far as I can tell) tiny scratches in the wrong places can be super noticeable in terms of visual quality, unlike with normal glasses. I tried to find replacement lens but couldn’t.

Kind of a big deal that these don’t work in any capacity with the latest generation of Intel CPUs, but it isn’t mentioned anywhere and I’m out almost $700 post-tax/shipping finding out.

Great product but limited to usb c all around. Not sure why they changed to usb c when the last integration had a hdmi hub to work with. Very limited product when trying to use it for other applications
