Going from the old entirely rubber finger sensor the this new sensor was like night and day. The old would leave my finger in a stiff pain in the morning, along with an extremely sensitive mark where the sensor conducts the readings. None of that with the new one.I’m still critical of two things:1. The light indicator for the device status is obnoxiously bright. While it is collecting your readings, it blinks green. It blinks brightly and in a dark room sleeping this is obviously an issue, either blinding yourself or your partner. I ended up putting electrical tape over the indicator. The light will still show along the edges, letting me know the device status.2. The USB mini connector for the finger reader is somewhat difficult to remove from the wrist device. I need to wiggle it out most of the time, but either a dent in the connector for finger nail leverage, or a little strap for tugging on would solve this problem easily.Overall, still a great product with a solid app to view the results.

The unit functioned perfectly and the post data collection report was good. I noticed that the signal cord attaching the cup to the wrist electronic module is too short. I had to keep my index finger straight to prevent the cord from being pulled too hard. In the end, I put the finger cup on my little finger and that length was OK.Bad part is that the silicone finger cup exerts too much pressure. I’d put it on before bedtime and after only 2 hours, I’d be awakened with a throbbing and sore finger from too much cup pressure. In the end, I couldn’t record a full night’s sleep due to the discomfort caused by excessive finger cup pressure. So I returned it for a refund and will keep shopping for a better designed overnight SpO2 monitor.

This SpO2 monitor works very well. The wrist monitor is easy and simple. The app is easy to download and use. The system seems very accurate compared to other readings I have taken with other instruments. My only complaint is that the microUSB wire is very difficult to disconnect from the wrist monitor, which is necessary for charging. I had to very gently use a pair of pliers to unplug the microUSB. Other than that it is great!

Pros – It is self-contained, using a USB style cable to connect the sensor to the processor/memory unit. Records a pair of readings each second. Comes with an available app, which is downloaded from playstore. The app is fairly intuitive and generates a summary report of each session, including SpO2, pulse, and Oxygen Desaturation Indexes (4% and 3%) along with the hourly frequency of each desaturation event type. The report can be uploaded to your phone, or emailed if you prefer. It also allows upload of 1 second data to your phone in CSV format. Battery life (when new) is adequate for a night of monitoring. The sensor grips the finger firmly but is not overly uncomfortable to me. It is easily put on and taken off. The unit will auto-shutdown if the sensor is not getting readings for some period of time. The app suggests that a replacement sensor is available for purchase.Cons- battery life is pretty short; requires recharge daily. This unfortunately requires removal of the sensor and plugging in a USB charging cable to the same port, each time. The sensor plug is very tight and not easily pulled == I’m concerned it will break after a while from this stress. Using pliers to carefully remove the sensor plug, with steady pressure may address this. They should have provided a separate port for the sensor and the charging cable to alleviate this. The Instructions are not real good, but with trial and error you can figure it out. Mine came with an unexplained adapter for the usb charging / sensor port; it appears to extend the length of the port about 1/2 inch, for no explained reason — It broke during the first night of use during normal sleep motions by snagging on blankets. The unit appears to work without the adapter, however. There is no display, you have to record results, then transfer the data to the app to read it. The green indicator flashes about 1x per second, which indicates the unit is working/recording data, but the flashing is noticeable in a dark room — some people may want to cover that LED with tape. The sensor occasionally will get dislodged in sleep, in which case you lose your readings for the rest of the night. The red LED light is visible also, but not bothersome.Accuracy: Overall, the readings seem consistent with those of other oximeters.

This is doing a great job keeping track of my oxygen levels overnight. It is comfortable on the wrist and the finger sensor. Only difficulty is pulling the sensor off so I can recharge. It is a bit difficult to grab hold of the plug. Otherwise, very happy with this.

I won’t get into the red-tape health insurance frustration that led me to purchase this relatively inexpensive home oxygen monitor, but this device provided enough useful data to move my treatment forward with my sleep specialist and enable approval of an official medical sleep study. The oximeter was easy to charge by USB, the instructions for downloading the app and printing reports were clear, and customer service responded quickly to my emailed question and even followed up later. I don’t intend to use it on a nightly basis, but it’s nice to have for the occasional check-in. One thing I learned was that on first usage, the time stamps aren’t accurate. Customer service told me this would self-correct on the next use but I haven’t used the monitor again to verify that.

Im a RN and I was looking for something that I could use to monitor my oxygen levels while sleeping. I have night time hypoxemia that was not corrected with CPAP alone requiring oxygen as well. With this I get a report that shows me the percentage of time spent at various pulse ox levels. I can easily download it to my phone. Seems pretty accurate as well since my readings also matched my sleep study readings and my other pulse ox. Overall for the price I’m pretty impressed. I have not had any problems with unplugging the probe to charge it that others have mentioned. Only issue I have had is sometimes I have to hit the on button a couple of times before it comes on. App is easy to use as well.

Work well. I broke a little connector, not sure why it’s necessary.Device is a little uncomfortable on my finger, not sure why.
