The Echelon Beat Advanced Armband Heart Rate Monitor is a new product from Echelon that connects to their Echelon Fit App to display your heart rate on the screen, while also capturing data for future workouts. The armband design and color-changing LED indicator allow users to monitor their intensity level as they exercise.
Equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery and an LED charging indicator, the Echelon Beat Advanced Armband Heart Rate Monitor is easy to keep charged and ready for use. It syncs seamlessly with the Echelon Fit App, allowing users to track their heart rate and monitor their progress over time.
The HR Zone Light is a standout feature of this heart rate monitor, changing color based on the user’s heart rate. The light changes from blue to red, indicating the intensity level of the user’s workout. This feature enables users to push themselves to achieve their fitness goals, while also ensuring they stay within safe and healthy parameters.

Sometimes it has a hard time syncing up with the echelon app even though my setting confirm that the Bluetooth is on and connected. The last time I used it it didn’t sync and I didn’t have the time to figure it out but the watch itself was still glowing colors representing the heart rate per min so I was still able to see where I was on the heart rate scale.I didn’t want to spend extra money on a watch that does a million other things, this is exactly what I needed it for and gets the job done.

I gave this four stars for one reason only, that it works well with the Echelon bike. We have the Echelon fit app and the heart rate monitor is fairly accurate, and having it on arm band makes it easy to get on and off. I have a chest heart rate monitor that is accurate and the Echelon is pretty much within a few beats per minute of my chest monitor.I did try to connect it to my Garmin cycling computer, but was unsuccessful. But I didn’t buy it for that. It would have been nice if it worked, but it works with our exercise bike. It is a bit on the bulky side, but its not uncomfortable to wear. The arm band is adjustable so you can size it to fit comfortably on a wide size range of arms. And it did not slip around at all during any of my exercise rides so far. It’s good for your Echelon bike, but don’t expect to work for other applications.

I rely on this, but wish it worked better. If you customized your profile online with Echelon, your zones will be customized as shown on the tablet/monitor for the bike. The armband colors do not “match” those shown on the bike, but it seems like the arm band itself cannot be customized for zones based on someone’s age. For connection issues, you can’t try to connect to the Echelon bike until you are “in” a running class. All you have to do is turn on the arm band and it connects automatically within a few seconds. The problem is that it often doesn’t connect– that means you have to leave/reenter the class or and sometimes restart the whole “app”/tablet to get it to connect. The issue is that you miss time in class as a result. When you end a class or workout, you have to re-connect each time you start a new one– even though you have not turned off the tablet. I would buy this again, but I wish the company could figure out these issues. Hope this helps others.

Saw a lot of reviews about the armband not connecting once you finish a program and start another one. I’ve learned that once the program is done and I want to go to another I’ll just push the center button until is turns red to disconnect than push the button again it will light up and it will connect for the next program. Hope this helps;)

The armband has no display, but it flashed a different color for each heart rate level. I display is from the device you blue tooth connect it to … Which can be the display used with the echelon bike or just the app.

Very comfortable and easy to use! It is kinda annoying that I have to keep pairing it for every class/row I start but that’s pretty much the worst of it. Overall very happy with it

This works well with your Echelon App

Like others have mentioned, this band doesn’t connect well. On average it takes me 3 minutes into the ride for it to connect. It’s flashing zone colors but not connected to the monitor. Also when it actually does connect the color zones the band flashes never match the zone on the screen. It’s usually one zone behind. I do think when it works it does give an accurate HB as I’ve compared it to my Apple Watch as well as a polar fitness chest band. So I’ll stick with either of those, but it is easier to just glance at the monitor in front of me vs looking at my wrist or phone for the polar output. Also this past time when the band disconnected, so did the Wi-Fi connection to the bike. It came back in short order, but does appear this band has all kinds of issues associated with it.

Syncs to the bike automatically. Very happy with it.

As much as I wanted to love this and add it to my daily cycling it’s horrible! Will not stay connected if you can even get it connected to begin with…. I’ve gotten it connected once in the last 6 rides and that was only for the last 5 min of class

Use on my Echelon bike- works very well, but seems to take a long time to connect.

I bought my Echelon from Costco and got this heart monitor to go along with it. I don’t know what the problem is, but if you do back to back rides, it will disconnect after the first ride and not reconnect on the second ride, making it useless. Very frustrating. I will be returning this and getting a manual heart monitor. Too bad this didn’t work. Good concept poor execution.

Connects every time and shows the same heart rate as my other monitor so I believe it’s accurate.
